We stayed the last 2 days to set my daughter up for college. It was great being on the beach for the price, the outside pool was clean. We had a partial view of the ocean. The room was clean, nice & large, but out-dated. We had an efficiency, but I'm not sure I would have used the stove. The... More

We stayed there August 1-5 and were disappointed. We have stayed there twice a year for the last 20 years and never been so disappointed. The staff is rude and don't care if we are satisfied. Had to chase down the cleaning staff to get towels and the rooms smelled and were not clean. The pools were not cleaned properly... More

My boyfriend and I decided to take a random weekend beach trip to Myrtle Beach. We realized that all of the hotels were booked except for the ones that wanted $900+ for a weekend. Our friend told us to call Seahorn and, when we called, it was our lucky day because they had one room left. Because it was less... More

This hotel has the basics to survive (think 1980's), but if you want more, choose another place. -Parking- The parking lot is small, but I didn't have a problem finding a place to park. -Location- It is along the beach. The beach access is great. The main road to everything needed is within driving distance. There is a restaurant that... More

A worn down motel for sure. Although the price was lower than regular hotels (149$), the room was all worn down. The room was big (416), but small bathroom with a bad odor. No real blanket on beds, just old and dirty bedcovers. Freezer in refrigerator with old ice and food residues.

Just returned from a week at Seahorn. Stayed here the last 20 years enjoyed our vacation until this year. Booked a room in February for our July stay and was told I would be on the 2nd floor, that never happened, the microwave did not work, air conditioner did not cool properly. Front desk not very friendly. Will not be... More

I visited Myrtle Beach last weekend and this place was nice, clean and the staff was super friendly. The hotel is ocean front and it has both indoor and outdoor pool which was great for us. In speaking with the new management they mentioned that they will be renovating the hotel and we cannot wait to see the improvements. We... More

We went down for the weekend, just needed a place to sleep. Was very disappointed in the whole place. First the door was broken and you had to use deadbolt to lock door. The kitchen was a joke, only a few dishes and ice bucket didn't even have a liner. Ice was 25 cents every time. If you wanted an... More

If you are on a budget this is a good place to stay. The place is in desperate need of updating though! While the room had a kitchenette, the microwave was dirty and so was the inside of the oven. The eyes of the oven didn't fit properly either. The cookware and dishes provided were not clean or orderly; just... More

We haven't been to Myrtle Beach for 3 years. Naturally we chose to stay at the Sea Horn. The location at the south end is very convenient. The Motel has recently been sold. The new owners did a great job taking care of my family and I. We stayed in a double bed room. It has a full kitchen and... More
