New corporate owners as of April 2016. As a family owned motel, it was in need of updating, but the owners were wonderful people. The previous owners kept the place clean. The new owners are keeping the place open year-round, but they do not have the front desk or maintenance staff needed to do this properly. No motel should have...

We stayed in January. The hotel was empty. The room was ok for the night. The lady at the front desk was kind and upgraded our room because there weren't many people at the hotel. We stayed here because it is close to the airport.

ROOM 208 with older tv but lots of channel choices and authentic beach experience with sand between your toes because beach access is only steps away from your room door. We opted for the least expensive rate, did not request an upgrade to ocean front (although Dad thought we should have) and would not have changed a thing. We expected...

The room was just what we needed, simple and clean with a kitchenette. The place is not overly glamorous but the accommodating staff more than makes up for it. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful (printing plane tickets, upgrading us to an oceanfront room only because it was cold etc). The room was very reasonably priced and...

We were there when the new owners took over. It just didn't seem the same but we enjoyed our stay. However when we returned in September as we've done for many many years it was very disappointing and just sad. The prices tripled ( we did get the original rates when we booked in March.) The rooms were dirty... had...

We have been staying at the Sea Horn Motel for 15+ years. Since the ownership change it has gone downhill rapidly. * Indoor pool, no lights at night * Outdoor pool was cold. Staff claimed they didn't know it had a heater. Then left it on and too hot to swim in pool. * Maintenance is a joke. Report it...

We tried to give the new owners a second chance. We were supposed to stay 5 nights but we ended up moving to a different place. Here are reasons why. We came the first night got a room and it was dirty and we went to the pool and one of the entrances to the pool area was broken and...

Please note that I have written previous reviews of this hotel. I have no hidden agenda. Another reviewer suggested that the problems were "self-made". Really? There was a metal fork laying beside the pool for days, the hose by the pool was split, allowing it to spray water everywhere but your feet; the patio door handle was broken, as well as...

Arrived an hour early and they hadn't started cleaning our room. The office staff were rude, and thank God we booked early in the year, they had doubled the rates. There were several maintenance issues, the patio door lock was broken and hanging off door, the toilet is very slow and I have plunged it. No spoons in silverware. Some...
