Wonderful rooms and location. The staff was exceptional. Carrie and Nancy in the restaurant were a joy. They even remembered our names on the second day, and made a special effort to pay personal attention to your young son.
I stay here every week would never stay anywhere except this hotel. The staff is the best in the entire grandstand. The front lobby staff is the best there is. when I come in Laura knows me and greats me like I'm family. I love this place.
Beautiful hotel, loved being by the marina & Ruth's Chris. Great value for a very spacious two bedroom condo. Laura at the front desk was wonderful as well as the bartenders. We enjoyed the proximity to our friends that live in the dunes. We will definitely stay here again.
Our family is here for the Thanksgiving holiday & we just had breakfast in Water Scapes restaurant. Our server, Nancy Calise was welcoming, professional, & fun. Thanks for working on the holiday, it is appreciated:):)
This property can use lots of work. They can begin with Genera Manager JR whose condescending customer service attitude sets the tone. When you have a problem, he attempts to disarm you with wise guy antics. From the onset, our stay here was disconcerting to say the least. The front desk and bell stand were so understaffed that after waiting a total of 30 minutes to check in and attempting to get assistance with our luggage, we made three (3) trips to our room to get it done ourselves since they do not have carts onsite for customer self-service. Every surface in the kitchen of our suite was covered with a greasy film...so much for housekeeping...which by the way is not provided unless you stay exceeds 3 days...exactly like the Days Inn. The room was like a cave because the light fixtures had multiple bulbs that were burnt out...so much for maintenance. One of the sinks in the bathroom was cracked in multiple places and the shade on one of the nightstand lamps was cracked and stained with paint...so much for quality fixtures. The mold/mildew on one of the exterior corners of the shower stall was disguising (didn't take a photo because I didn't want to gross anyone out). And what did we get from GM JR..."I'm sorry" and "I stand behind the quality of this facility" over and over and over again. He did in fact allow us to check out early without penalty. We went to a different property...just had to get out of that place. But as far as a solution was concerned...nothing. While I'm sure there have been folks who have stayed here problem free, everyone looks good when there are no issues. The true test of an organization is how they act/react when there's an issue/problem or as in our case, lots of issues/problems. In this area, General Manager JR failed miserably. Not surprising since all the issues we had are perfect examples of failed management. Yes, the fish does stink from the head down!!!…
Beautiful resort with outstanding service and amenities. The food and service at the Waterscapes restaurant was outstanding. Thank you Nancy and Ann for your warm restaurant hospitality. We are planning to return in 2022
I would like to say thank you to Ms Carrie and Brandy at Marina Inn Grand Dunes/WaterScapes, fabulous restaurant and service. They were were very pleasant and friendly. The service was wonderful. I will definitely return.. i recommended this place and the food was amazing. 5 stars all the way!
Trisha did an amazing job! She was pleasant, well informed, detail oriented while she patiently explained all of our options! Even went so far to help us find a kennel nearby for our dog! Because of Trisha we are excited to experience this package!
If possible, request a room with a balcony over-looking the Marina. Don't forget to pack a swimsuit. This property is far enough away from the hustle of MB to get some R&R yet close enough to enjoy it at the pace you choose. Clean spacious rooms, nice toiletries, very helpful, friendly staff, especially the front desk staff. I like a hot shower and I was not disappointed. Beware, bottled water is pricey. I recommend talking your own. Three bottles delivered to the room will cost you in excess of $20.
The entire staff was professional, honest and friendly. Stayed there to be close to the hospital but, would return "in a skinny minute" for an extended vacation! Lala at check-in was extremely helpful!
