The campground had a lot for the family to do from putt putt to swimming in one of the pools and paddle boats. They also have game room and pizza place and can rent golf cart . Only issue was the bath house was not the cleanest place I have seen. You can choose near the beach and ocean or... More

This facility packs campers in so tight that the overall feel is refugee camp with golf carts. There is nothing beautiful or natural or "green" about it. We rented what they call a "villa." It was more like a truncated version of the trailer housing that FEMA puts up after a natural disaster. Don't let the depiction of the floorplan... More

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay and were not satisfied with your accommodations. Our single wide park models are small, by definition a "park model" is less than 400 square feet. There are no photo tricks; the pictures on the rental page of the website were taken... More

This campground is so much fun! The concrete sites are great. The beach is beautiful and all of the staff were so nice. You definitely need a golf cart. I cannot understand how people could have any complaints. Coming back next year!

I enjoyed my recent stay! I had a concrete pad close to the beach. All hookups. You may need a golf cart to get around if you don't have bikes. Of course they have golf cart rentals but they are a little expensive. At eleven every night everyone respected the quiet time. No problems. The campground store had reasonable prices... More

I was skeptical from reading previous posts on here for this place, seriously don't see what people are complaining about. Campers of all types are here. Our family was nearly oceanfront in their camper and we rented cabin to be close. It was perfect for me, husband, and 1-year old son. We rented golf cart for the week which made... More

This is a great campground. We stay at least 3 times a year. We usually stay for around a week in May and the week of thanksgiving. The third time is on Labor Day weekend. All three times they are always crowded so be prepared for that. The campsites are smaller than some campgrounds we have stayed at but are... More

Made reservations 7 months in advance. Put a deposit down. Everyone we talked to on the phone was nice. When we traveled 20 hrs to get here, all the employees working were extremely rude! Trying to charge 400$ extra than we were suppose to pay. We tried to show verification emails. They wouldn't look at them. Checking in was a... More

We traveled to Pirateland Oceanfront Campground last summer for a small family get-together. There were eight adults and two kids under five in our group. The kiddos absolutely loved it! They loved the little kiddie pool that they have. Unfortunately, though, the water wasn't refreshing whatsoever. It was like bath water in the 90 degree heat. Also, the whole park... More

We just got back from Pirateland. We took the family for a week vacation the week before the 4th. This "resort" came recommended from several people we talked to within the RV community. We had not been to Myrtle Beach yet with the RV and were excited to spend the time with the kids at the beach and our family... More

We camped here July 2-6, 2016 and it was our first time camping on July 4th so we expected it to be crowded, but WOW was it packed! We had site 142 and it was very cramped. We were also disappointed that we weren't beside our friends, with whom we booked a full 6 months in advance and paid in... More
