We had a another great golfing experience with the help of Scott and Frank G. in the golf department. They consistently give us great service and always take care of our needs. Their recommendations for courses are spot on and go the extra mile for us. Top notch guys.

When we made the reservation (by phone) the hotel employee said that the Embassy Suites hotel did not have suites, only regular rooms (2 beds, bath). So she recommended a condo. We wanted a 4 bedroom condo but there wasn't one available so we took a 3 bedroom and we were put on the list for a 4 bedroom in case anything changed. Multiple calls were made for weeks leading up to the reservation to make sure the room was nice and we were assured each time. When we arrived we were put in the South Hampton condos. This was not good. The ceilings were low, all air vents were full of dust, bathroom was dirty with hair on the wall and gunk on the back of the door, curtains had gunk on them. Not comfortable or clean. So after a couple of rude people at the registration desk, including the manager, a very nice young lady understood our issues and we were moved to the Margate tower. This was a very nice room, 4 bedrooms, nice furnishings, nice view, and clean. So go to these if you book a condo. Still though, no one took away our dirty towels until the day before we left even though we called for fresh towels every day (nine of us total so we went through a lot of towels). Also, no trash service, we were directed to a trash chute down the hall.

I checked in yesterday (8/17/24) made three trips to the front desk because the room would not open with the cards they gave me. I was switched to a new room at desk staffs suggestion and have now been charged an additional charge. I finally got into the initial room after a grounds keeper keyed us into the room. I was apologized to by the desk staff at embassy suites and told the manager would contact me himself to " make this right." THAT NEVER HAPPENED!! I was so fooled by the service I got here the first time I attended thinking this was a nice family facility. This is the third time I've stayed here because I attend cme here! I would not recommend attending ncapa meeting at this point because on top of everything my child was head butted in the nose and bled because their life guards do NOT do their jobs. Allowing children to hurt other children. Shortly after I post this Randy DeVaux General Manager at Kingston Plantation will give me some fake response to suggest they apologize. An apology would require an actual show of respect or empathy for my whole week being wasted by coming here. Additionally, don't think that calling the front desk and using ext 50 will help.. it will ring all day then when they answer you will "accidently" get disconnected. Then when someone does answer the excuse will be " well, it's not my fault." Of course not it's never anyone's fault here at Kingston Plantation. The second room I was transferred to was a smaller room for a bigger fee. Night two some fool played music really loud all night long and scared my daughter by yelling "F you dawg" while he whistled loudly until 1:30 am. All the convenience of south myrtle right here in north myrtle! In the last 24 hours I was locked out of my room again while my family stood there for half an hour. Slick front desk staff gave me a plastic card for "free breakfast" like it's not the same " free breakfast they give everyone!! These people have no respect.

If I could give zero I would. No housekeeping, no room cleaning, old dirty rooms, stay away.
I have been staying in this hotel for the last 3 years, during summer vacation, spending $1k or more for 3 day weekend, the service is getting worse and worse, there is no housekeeping, you need to schedule it 24h ahead and even when you do they will not clean your room, making it a frustrating experience. In the 3 days we had the room cleaned once.
Also, when we got home, I realized I left my camera in the hotel room, I can't get anyone to call me back about it, and when I call they keep transferring my call to the same voicemail and never return my calls.
The water park is fine, but you do not need to stay on the premises to access it. I do not recommend it.

I didn’t want to post this because it’s embarrassing and gross but the on-site Hilton Hotels & Resorts management refuses to confirm they’ll treat the problem, but we stayed Friday night. Woke at 11:45 covered with itchy bites and found bed bugs all over our bed. The front desk staff moved us to another room, gave us laundry supplies and instructed us to leave everything behind. After staying up til 2 am washing the clothes on our back, we slept a few hours before our 6 am wake up. The next morning, front desk staff told us to grab all our belongings to treat ourselves. My husband spent the whole day washing and sanitizing everything only to check the bed (again) in the new unit and find more bed bugs. When we called to speak to the manager, he told us that their inspector found no evidence of bed bugs and would not commit to treating the unit. I guess the welts and bite marks and photos and videos we had aren’t evidence enough because he refused to even look at them or give us a contact to send them to. He constantly interrupted me, spoke over me and was trying to gaslight me. Also, we found a bottle of bed bug treatment spray in the laundry area of the original unit. This was clearly a known problem.

My husband and I booked a room through Hilton. We arrived at Embassy on 8/16/23 They gave us room 408 located in the South Hampton Condos. We had no idea what we would be walking into. The room smelled terrible. The carpets were black and disgusting. There were stains on the walls, beds missing a bed skirt in one room, stains on what was considered a clean towel and sand on the kitchen table. When we informed the Embassy(Hilton), we were told they are not responsible for the owners of the condos updating their property. My question is why would you want your name associated with these standards of living? When asked to be moved they told us we can move you to another condo but they could not guarantee what that room would look like. We didn’t want to chance walking into the same situation so we asked to be moved to the Embassy. They told us we would have to pay $75 dollars per day for an upgrade. We asked why do we have to pay for an upgrade? We didn’t asked to be placed in a dirty room. We didn’t asked to be inconvenienced. Embassy refused to help us and we were charged $75 dollars per day to upgrade to a clean room. If you are visiting the Kingston Plantations, I advise you to stay away from the condos unless you have visited a particular condo once before. South Hampton HOA Association should be ashamed of that building. Everything in the building from the lobby, elevator and path to room smells and is old. We end up paying the $75 per day to further enjoy our stay in the Embassy hotel due to us losing an entire day. I’m giving 1 stars for the experience because we were inconvenienced and had to pay an extra $75 per day for Embassy (Hilton) and South Hampton HOA for not doing their job to provide customer satisfaction and to receive a clean room as an upgrade.Our stress levels were through the roof after a flight and drive.
We made a complaint to Hilton customer service after checking out. They gave us hotel points for paying the 75 dollars a day which we appreciate but unfortunately doesn’t remove the experience and how this room looks. I hope no one else has to go through this experience and the rooms are updated. It’s a great place to visit when you have a clean place to lay your head. These pictures were shared with management.

We had high expectations based on the photos and reviews but were so disappointed (and disgusted) with our room. We booked a one bedroom lake view lodge and were placed in Laurel court. Our first room had hair on the floor and bathroom had grease all over it but it was slightly updated. We called the front desk and were moved to a similar room. The next room one was less updated and NOT clean. They did not vacuum from previous guests, hair in the shower and mildew smell throughout. We called the front desk again and they said they’ll send housekeeping. The gentleman who showed up swept, sprayed air freshener, attempted to clean the bathroom, and gave us a vacuum to vacuum ourselves. We travel a lot and have never had this experience, gross to walk around and not to mention we had a baby with us. I spoke with housekeeping the following day who said they don’t deep clean the rooms and it’s at the mercy of the owners (basically air bnb rental style). If I’m booking through embassy suites, I expect a level of cleanliness and to at least vacuum from previous guests. If they couldn’t even do that, makes you wonder what they actually clean between guests.

We were visiting as part of a Hilton timeshare preview. Assigned room 2101H which is essentially half of a hotel room. The bed fills the entire room, although there is a desk and fridge. Bathroom is normal sized. Presumably this room is part of the larger condo next door as an additional bedroom. But it doesn't work as a stand alone booking.
Overall, place was clean and quiet. Housekeeping requests require 24 hours notice, and in room amenities like soap, shampoo were sparse. No boxes of Kleenex so we brought one up from the car.
Hilton missed a real opportunity with us because we were serious potential timeshare purchasers.

We had five couples who wanted to get away over New Year's and were so lucky to have made contact with Debra Torregrossa. Two couples could stay for only an overnight and three were staying the weekend. She showed us several places, all of which were equally beautiful. We needed a three bedroom to have a spacious living area so that all of us could celebrate together. She did an amazing job at meeting our needs. These condos are amazing and we are looking forward to our future bookings at Kingston Plantation Condos and hopefully working with Debra Torregrossa again.
