We stayed the weekend for Ocean Lakes Halloweekend event. The kids (and us) had the best time. So many things going on such as costume contest, face painting, trick or treating, and loved riding around seeing all the Halloween decorations.
We probably will not stay anywhere else now in myrtle beach. It was so nice and fun, highly recommended having a golf car because that was most of he fun driving around. They have a couple playgrounds and nice pools and splash pad for kids....More
Spent a few days here, the bath houses here are the cleanest we've ever been to. Very safe, my son was able to ride his bike around since it's all flat. Pool open year round and there are tons of activities. Can't wait to return...More

Their policy states" Consumption of alcoholic beverages is permissible at your site only by adults 21 yrs of age and older" There is a $100 fine if you are caught with alcohol in your possession on a golf cart or off of your site. As far as on the beach, that's under county jurisdiction. Alcohol is illegal on the beach but if you drink it discreetly and aren't being loud or rowdy, the lifeguards usually just ignore it.
