Been to this resort twice in the past 8 months. It’s a lovely resort; staff are Fun and courteous, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. On my first visit in November we had table service breakfast and menu while sitting looking at the ocean. A wonderful experience and worthy of the price. Now in June it’s an overpriced (23.95) buffet style breakfast with cold eggs, disgustingly greasy bacon, under cooked sausages and rubbery pancakes. The Staff are great but the food was of a 1 or 2 star facility. Your best option for breakfast is to go to the croissant bakery adjacent to the Hook and Barrell restaurant less than a mile away.

This hotel is run down, understaffed, and dirty. For a Marriott I expected a certain quality for $400 a night. The rooms had hair in the shower and I I fridge. The elevators were filthy. The pool chairs snd area were broken and there was black dirt everywhere. Landscaping was a mess. This is NOT Bonvoy quality. One restaurant had only one waitress. The towel kiosk told me he was understaffed. Our stay was a huge disappointment. We’re seasoned travelers snd this is one of the worst experiences I’ve had. EVER.

We are locals that decided to stay here for a night while work was being done on our house. From check-in to check-out we had an amazing experience. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a nice partial ocean view. Cocktails and a great dinner were made even better by the amazing service of Troy, Dominick, Ashe and Philip in the lounge. We can't wait to return. Thank you, gentlemen!

The pool area was nice and the outside bar had decent food with great service. It shut down too early when it rained. We had an ocean view balcony room, which was nice, even though it didn't face the ocean exactly. The breakfast buffet was pretty awful. It was like a free breakfast at a 3-star business travel hotel, but the "hot" food in the containers was cold and left in there too long. The selection of bread and pastries was bad and they didn't have any bagels out, even though it was advertised. I can't believe what they charged for it. Also, they let a large family bring in McDonald's and sit in the dining area to eat. The room service took way too long and the pizza was cold when it finally arrived.

Hotel is nice and staff are friendly but facilities, especially the pool, are in desperate need of some renovation and maintenance. The water slide and fencing is rusting. Stairs to the water slide need power washing and installation of no slip mats. Pool chairs are broken. The basketball court, if you can call it that, is barely a slab of asphalt with a basketball goal that’s from 20+ years ago. Definitely not to the standard that we saw 10 years ago when we last visited.
