This is probably the worst hotel I ever booked in thirty years of traveling. As a surprise for my sister, I booked this hotel on the beach. PICTURES SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS. the kitchen is old and broken down, rundown, the stove is gross, there are rips in the bedding. It’s not the least bit inviting. After reading the reviews, I took a chance and booked in here, and the reviews were spot on for this place. The exterior hallway is reminiscent of a rundown apartment building. The outside of the building is very inviting but once you get in these doors, it’s a different story.

Not the cleanest place to stay. We stayed 2 weeks and after first week asked for our sheets to be changed. Housekeeping said no - they would give us sheets to change them ourselves. I said I have trouble changing at home and need help and I don't work here. No dice! Seems a shame you can't get clean sheets on vacation. Maintenance staff very nice.

We stayed there this past September. I understand after Covid they don’t have the same daily housekeeping. Many places are like that. Our experience was like they forgot we were there. We got there on Monday, we had to go on Wednesday to ask for towels. Had to go back Friday to ask them to empty our garbage. We couldn’t fit any more garbage in it. They apologized but it was too late at that point. Our friends staying on the 3rd and 6th floors got their garbage emptied and towels changed daily. Our carpet could have used a vacuuming after a few days. Is it up to us to borrow a vacuum??? We booked a kitchenette so we could make breakfast. We bought groceries for breakfast only to go to cook and we don’t have a frying pan or spatula. The following day they brought us the smallest pan they could find which was large enough to cook a turkey. But now we had a pan. On the Weekend the stairwell smelled badly of pot. Went to do laundry, put our money in a washing machines only to find it wasn’t working. Had to go across the street to get my money back. They still didn’t put a sign on it saying it wasn’t working. In the room there was nowhere to even plug in USB to charge phone etc. Everywhere has that now, all they have to do is buy a lamp which has usb outlets and plugs. I enjoyed our stay in Myrtle Beach but not at this hotel. The best part of this hotel is the outside. It’s beautiful, 2 pools, lazy river and plenty of lawn seating with tables. ! I guess that’s why when you go on the hotel website, there are no pictures of the rooms, just the outside. The rooms are very much in need of update. I would never stay here again!

Read the reviews and was skeptical about stay but daughter had already made reservations. Seems like a rather old hotel that has not been kept up with subpar housekeeping at best. Microwave had mold on inside of door, toilet won't half flush and takes 30 minutes to fill. We had 2 rooms opposite each other on 8th floor. Room 887 the door seems like it is warped, won't open or close without some effort and a lot of noise. Room 888 has a jacuzzi however appeared it has not been cleaned in a while so wasn't used. Seems like the hotel needs revamping and remodeling, however for $275 for two nights in September total price for an economical get away if just some of the things was corrected would be well worth the value. Another complaint that is out of the hotels control constantly smelled Marijuana when on the balcony or outside.

Room was terrible. Dirty and nasty. Smelled horrible. Shower hasn’t been cleaned in a good while. Nasty mattresses and not enough pillows. We were told they had no more. They are advertising their new building as what they all should look like but they don’t. Do not recommend. Even elevator was nasty

We waited over 2 hours for towels AFTER we called!! The hotel claims to have “daily room service” but that’s only if you’re in your room at the time they come by- they aren’t allowed to come inside the rooms to change the trash, toilet paper, or resupply towels. Our room was a non-smoking room but reeked of it when we first came in. We had to buy 2 bottles of air freshener just to dim the smell. There was dust and debris all over the kitchen ware and it was obvious the dishes were never cleaned (or if they were, it was a VERY poor wash). The beds had hair and blood on the sheets!! There was also a nail stuck up by the bathroom floor and both my boyfriend and I stepped on it, causing painful bruises and cuts. With all of that, the hotel was not cheap and everything is so extremely old fashioned. The ONLY reason we stayed here was because it was the only hotel near the beach that allowed parties less than 21 to stay. That being said, we would’ve been better off staying home for a week instead of wasting our money on this crap hotel.

Filthy with bugs. Rude staff. There are three separate buildings . We paid $436 for two nights. Our building was old dirty and overlooked a demolished hotel Lazy river/pool for high end rooms. The lazy river is 2 ft deep with no current. The indoor pool is outside under parking garage. Run!

Brian Boucher is a snake. We recently rented his condo at Board walk beach resort. Unit 935. The condo itself was decent. The building is not somewhere I would stay again. Read the reviews on Vrbo. You cannot sit on the balcony without smelling weed. This is not a family friendly place at all. We stayed off season when the building was basically empty and was still horrible. Brian waited 13 days to charge me for a chair we didn’t brake. And didn’t even tell me just sent me a bill. I took pictures 30 seconds before we left that flat out prove we didn’t brake it. He is a liar and a cheat. He waited until I left him a decent review to send us a charge.he tried to say the door was shut on it but in my pictures you can clearly see that’s not even possible. I would avoid this building. It’s very old. Very outdated. The laundry is disgusting and only two units. Parking is across the street and in a parking garage.

We were staying here as usual for the last 20 or so years. We got the weather alert on Wed, 9/28 for tropical storm warning (in advance of hurricane Ian) and governor of South Carolina declared a state of emergency. We decided to check out the following morning and by Thursday morning we now had a hurricane warning. We were refused a refund for checking out early. HURRICANE Shame on you Boardwalk. We requested a refund of $208.33 and did not get it. SHAME, SHAME

If there were less than 1 star would leave it, The only saving grace was location & staff upon checking out (she did refund my unused portion of stay) The room size was ok for 1 person, however the location (main tower 14th floor) had ZERO AC in bathroom It was a furnace coming out of there spilling into the bedroom The AC window unit couldn't cool the room and bathroom. The bathroom door had to remain shut at all times to make the bedroom livable. Maint came 2x with no resolution I checked out the 2nd morning Vomit was outside of elevators for at least 12 hours (see pics) I booked another room at another hotel down the beach I will not be back to this place!!!
