Stay clear of this entire resort. We were going to book Compass Cove. Saw this deal came here we are here now leaving in am. Got here we had to pay 80.00 more and a man in front same thing. I thought oh no.. I had known that I would have stayed away or called if on my charge card not hubby's andbgot out of this and had proof in twenty min just let the pix say it all. Smell of pot, dirty halls, if it was 40.00 a night poss would not say anything.

This place got a decent review on airbnb site. The unit we stayed in had huge furniture for this tiny 500sf space. Everything is outdated. Although there are dishes, glasses, etc, there is one cereal bowl and only 3 forks. Poorly maintained. The elevators are super sketchy - I used the stairs since we were on the 2nd floor. Room is across from the elevators and they are loud! The pools are nice and this place is right on the beach. Couldn't enjoy the balcony between one of the adjacent neighbors smoking weed all the time and the condensation of the a/c above us dripping onto our balcony. Seems like a safe location but definitely wouldn't stay here or recommend.

Room was dirty when we first entered and it should have been cleaned before we got there. We were told there was a broom and dustpan in the room. Needed a new microwave and toaster which we did receive. Blanket on the bed had candy stuck to it when covers were pulled down. Were the linens even changed between guests??? Rugs not in good shape (stuff stuck to them) and room was very dated. Trash all over the property. Tables, chairs and umbrella were in VERY poor shape. Bugs in the bathroom. Television remote needed new batteries. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND anyone stay at this horrible property. Owner needs to sell to the highest bidder so they can tear it down and put up a new hotel!!!

We stayed on the 6th floor (top) of the southern-most tower. There are 3 towers. The tower we stayed in is in horrible condition. The elevator works fine but it needs updating. The halls, elevator and stairwells were not swept our entire stay. I didn’t see one single employee our entire 4 night stay, with the exception of a maintenance engineer that had just finished plunging someone’s toilet. That’s it. The room was not much better. Carpeting was matted with some gum stuck to it and it was dirty. The wall for the open closet had dried ketchup(??)on it. It’s next to the efficiency kitchen, which we did not use. The pans are kept beneath the sink, which is not ideal because it’s dirty there, too. The sink did not drain well at all. We peeled the comforter back on one of the beds and the blanket had some stuff on it. Didn’t look close enough to see what it was, just that it looked disgusting. We only saw one ice machine in our tower and it was not operating, which is fine because anyone off the street could have had access as it was sitting on the bottom floor open hallway. The water pressure in the tub/shower was good for the tub faucet but very low for the showerhead. Made no sense. The door to the room had to be slammed very hard in order to shut it due to it not fitting correctly. Non functioning exercise room. The lazy river behind the owners’ tower was full of kids, which is cool, but there is no bathroom by the pool. A person would either have to go to their room to relieve themselves or just add to the flowing, yellow river like all the other people in it were certainly doing, undoubtedly. The only good thing about the room were the air conditioners. They worked great and were the only reason we decided to tough it out and use our full stay there. Otherwise, we would’ve ditched the room and gotten one somewhere else and taken the loss. IT WAS THAT BAD! Don’t bother. Stay somewhere else is my best advice.
