Jennifer at the front desk was very helpful, polite and professional. Just having this level of customer service will bring me back to stay. I don't mind spending my money where the people are helpful and professional with great attitudes. The room itself was great as well. The hotel is definitely close to strip for convenience but room we had after was told was one in type left and starts from elevator was infested with dog foul smell in room and even air quality of ac unit.There is small kitchenette in room but very limited items and whatever needs have go get up front with clean towels and also need some room upgrades and more better cleaning. Will not stay or recommend this hotel to anyone especially with resort fee that’s charged with very little to none extra amenities.

The lady Betty at front desk was amazing. The rooms are beautiful and clean and hotel is so clean. Definitely recommend. We got great rates for oceanfront room and are very happy. I would recommend this for anyone who is looking to come to quick vacation.

All of the Staff are wonderful, especially Reggie at front desk. They went out of their way to take care of our needs. Room was nice. Good breakfast. Good location. Can't wait to stay here again anytime.

We decided to forego the political chaos in Florida for our early summer getaway, and since neither of us had been to Myrtle Beach before, we decided to give it a shot. It turns out that the weather in the sunshine state was pretty chaotic as well, so we definitely picked the right destination. I did some research on hotels and found them a bit cheaper than some other beach communities, and with my Wyndham Rewards points, The Sandbar Hotel was quite the bargain. I thought it was across the street from the beach, but I did not realize they have two parts. Our room was located directly on the beach and that was our first surprise. Secondly, the property is only a block away from a neighborhood Walmart, so it is super convenient to pick up supplies without paying tourist trap prices. The only thing that bothered me was the beds. I tried both and chose the tilted bed (worn box spring?) over the one that was way too soft. I don't feel like I slept well either night. I suppose that might be more due to my regular bed being super firm, so I was not used to the softer foundation. Overall, I would still rate this the highest of any hotel I have stayed at in the past few years. This was a business trip in an unfamiliar place for me. It was quite convenient location with good amenities and easy access to beach, restaurants and a nice quiet location. Top of my list if ever there again. Staff was awesome, thanks Rose! Even at 3:00 am she was friendly and helpful.

The view from the balcony was instantly relaxing, and to have a kitchenette in the room made everything so much easier. The people who were helping us in the hotel employee were always super generous with their time information and made us feel welcome.

This is a great spot on the beach that is inexpensive! Rose, at the front desk was very helpful and welcoming. The rooms was great. It had a small kitchen and a small balcony with an ocean view. The only complaint is that out mattress seemed very sunken. My partner and I rolled to the middle and i woke up with a sore back. Everything else was great though.

This establishment is very clean and up to date. The room upgrade we received was oceanfront and beautiful. The night auditor at the front desk was so polite and helpful and the sweet lady named Betty is the perfect example of what customer service should be like. If I could give more than 5 stars I would and I highly recommend booking your stay with this establishment. Thank you Ms. Betty and Ms. Amanda for everything. You WILL see us again! 💯💯💯🥰
