My wife was attending a conference held at the attached Conference Center. I tagged along for the trip as neither of us had ever been to Myrtle Beach before. Upon arrival we asked if there was a possible upgrade that we could pay for, the front desk person checked and offered us a suite at no additional cost. We ended up with a king room that was spacious enough and a living room that had a sleeper couch, tv, refrigerator, microwave, and a dining table. Plenty of room for just the two of us. This allowed me to stay up late and binge watch "The Pacific" while she went to bed to prepare for the next day's conference schedule. The restaurant served a breakfast buffet that was priced inline with most other breakfasts. It was complete and served a good variety of food and fruit.

I will start by saying that I have heard horror stories about the disrepair of hotels in Myrtle Beach, especially in the off-season. It's obvious that the people who told me that never stayed at the Sheraton in Myrtle Beach. The staff was friendly and helpful, from the front desk giving me an early check-in, to housekeeping who did a superb job with the cleanliness of my room. Housekeeping noticed that I was not drinking the caffeinated coffee and left me extra packets of decaf, that's real service. Susan at the bar could not have been nicer, she is a real gem.

Susan at bar was the absolute best! I am a flight attendant and travel all over and she was the most attentive and kindest bartender ever. So refreshing to get awesome service after a long day of flying. She was also knowledgeable of the drinks and menu and helped me make my decision on what to get. Just loved her

I checked in online. I was eligible for an upgrade, so I contacted the hotel via online chat. It was fluid. The chat person was so friendly and professional. I was attending a business conference and asked for a suite if available. I was fortunate and was upgraded. The suite was a king suite with a separate room with a table and sofa. I was able to have a couple of networking meetings there, which was so convenient. The front desk staff was friendly and professional. They were on top of things and accommodating. The lobby smelled great, whatever scent that was it was inviting. The breakfast buffet staff were friendly and kept the buffet full, the tables clean and the beverages flowing. The bathrooms were clean as well as the common areas. Everyone was pleased with the amenities of the facility, but more importantly with the staff. Highly recommend this facility for business conferences.

This is the first time I have stayed at a Sheraton, in many many years. I truly loved the stay. The staff were pleasant and kind. The house keeper on my floor (Dorthy) was amazing. Always making sure I had enough water and towels. Now here is the best part, I am a Diamond Member at Hilton, and they treated me an my service dogs better than the Hilton brand has since they went all pet friendly two years ago in April. Not a soul game me smack about my SD or my SDiT...but, everyone there would tell you, they didn't even know they were there, because that is how well trained they are. We did not eat the the restaurants, so I cannot comment on that. But, we did get ice cream! A little over priced, but I hadn't had ice cream in years, so worth the treat! The hotel is showing its age. I noticed some wall paper peeling around the walk in shower, and some mold outside. I was in an accessible room and really didn't like that I had no vanity in the room, just a sink, toilet and the shower. It took me forever to find the wash clothes (put on top of the safe) and I am not in wheel chair, but if I was, there would be no way in heck I would have been able to grab them. Also, the sink was a bit too high for me. I could barely brush my teeth...but hey, if that is the only complaint I have, I am happy. The other thing I want to mention...and I hope they can take care of this. I took my SD and SDiT out at 7:40am on Saturday 10/28 to go potty. I took them out again around 9am, I stepped in a pile of poo from another dog. I sure hope I don't get blamed for it. I did tell the front desk about it...there was a dog show or something going on there on the 28th. But, I may be moving to a bonvoy member after this experience and leave the hilton in my rear view mirror! Next year when I go to my conference there I do hope they give me the same room! As, I won't have to train my dogs to lead me to another room.

If you're coming for a small size (500 - 1000 person) conference, this is a good property for the money. There are plenty of meeting spaces and a large exhibit hall. I would argue though that the facility is starting to show it's age. The staff is incredible at the property, and if not for them, they'd be getting a 3 star. Extremely kind and helpful. I will say that the app communication is a useless tool. I submitted 3 requests and didn't get a single response. I ended simply calling the front desk at which point they connected me to housekeeping. When I mentioned my service requests thru the app he said they don't look at it. The room was semi comfortable. The pillows, for me, are atrocious. They're supposed to be down filled but were hardly filled with anything. I literally used 4 pillows just to rest my head. I ended up asking housekeeping for a memory foam pillow. Bedding was comfortable. There were a lot of linens on the bed which made me really hot during the evening. Everything else from the room was adequate. The fitness center: pathetic. I've stayed here the past 3 years and the same treadmill is broken/non functioning; they're STILL missing a 15lb dumbbell; the row machine is still inoperable and too dangerous to use; and the floor is wildly filthy. However, as a person that has a dedication to fitness and with it as part of my daily routine, I am able to make something of nothing. Overall, a decent property that experiences a lot of customer turnover. I'd recommend.

I love the semi dated, but very well kept and SPACIOUS cruise ship feel of the hotel as I walked in. Right next to the Convention Center, it is a slightly dated but recently ( recently meaning within the past couple of years) remodeled hotel. It is comfy, a little classy and CLEAN!!! I loved how quick the elevators were. And the restraunt was available at very conventional hours. The Starbucks was a little pricey so watch out. And the ice cream shop was very charming. The beds were clean and very comfy. The rooms were clean with new carpet. They had a fridge under the TV but no microwave. However there is an accessible microwave in the Starbucks area. I really enjoyed my stay there because the rooms still had that 1/2 modern 1/2 classy Marriot magic that Marriots traditionally have.

They definitely go out of the way to take care of elite members. This was my 2nd time staying here. This time around the hotel was overbooked during 4th of July week. Although it was a rocky start to our vacation, the front desk staff particularly Ahmad and manager Hannah worked to make it right. The conceirge lounge wasn’t the largest, but it was suffice for the stay. The staff in the lounge were very friendly. The hotel definitely gets crowded, but that’s expected given it’s in a beach town. The hotel can also use a little renovation. However I will stay there again given my positive experience with the staff and management.

This hotel treated Platinum Elite members like royalty! The restaurant employees were so friendly! Ms. Susan was very friendly! The front desk employees were very professional, especially Ahmad ( I think he was the supervisor), but he was very professional and pleasant. They all treated me and my family very well! We enjoyed our stay!

* Newly renovated room on 3rd floor - clean and decent size * Housekeeing didn’t come everyday but were accommodating when I asked for new towels etc * Bonvoy lounge (11th floor) wasn’t open on weekend ! Could not even get in for bottled water . disappointing but they did comp buffet breakfast in lieu of lounge * Restaurant food & starbucks on site (kids loved rosie the robot) * 2nd floor bar was a plus and server was the most helpful employee at hotel * overall I would stay again, hotel was clean and ideally located APPROX 2 block walk to beach * NO OUTDOOR POOL!! FAMILIES SHOULD CONSIDER THIS WHEN BOOKING ! there is an indoor 3 foot pool in roof that is HOT AS HELL inside - think glass ceiling, minimal ventilation hot! * generally speaking , front desk staff was efficient but not very “warm” I purposely avoided one woman who was not helpful at all with my request * CHECK YOUR INVOICE PRIOR TO CHECKING OUT ! we were charged a daily parking fee (which they removed )
