We had someone at midnight knocking on our door wanting drugs. Then at 1:30 the room next to ours we had to call the police due to domestic violence. We left then. Didn't stay the second night. No refund.

The saying normally is you get what you said for but with this room they owe you money. The worst part was the room felt damp all night. I have pics of holes in sheets, mold on shower curtain etc. For the price I paid, they could have picked up fresh stuff from Walmart. The only thing I did like about this place was the beautiful receptionist

I gave 1 star only because I had to. This place is disgusting. We made reservations for a 1 night stay here but decided to leave out a night early. We thought we would check with the them to see if they could accommodate us for the the early arrival, which they said they could. We paid for the night and went to room 202. As soon as we opened the door, roaches went everywhere. They were crawling across the bed, up the walls and across the floor. We didn’t even sit out stuff down just immediately turned around to go back to the office at which time we notice a syringe containing what my husband recognized to be heroin.(He’s a police Corporal and sees this stuff regularly) We asked the clerk for a refund and were told he wasn’t authorized to do that and gave us a number to call the owner the next day. My husband contacted the owner and he was told he didn’t give refunds that he would need to check his surveillance to see if what we said was true. I have disputed the reservation charge, but will be out the extra night charge since I paid cash for that. We weren’t the only couples trying to get a refund, two other couple were down there as well and were told the same thing. We went across the street to The Viking, which I was apprehensive about, but the lady working the front desk let us check the room before we paid she even gave us a discount because my husband is a police officer. The Virginian is an infested roach motel!

Me and my wife had a spur of the moment idea to go to the beach. My wife got a room at the Virginian motel. We decided to go a day earlier and upon our arrival we where able to get a room for the night at the same motel. After paying and going to room 202 my wife opens the door and cut the light on and as she did roaches ran everywhere. As we came back out of the room not even sitting out luggage down we found a loaded heroine needle lying at the door. Upon speaking with the clerk was advised by him would have to speak with the owner about getting money back. Well after doing so the next day we’ll lets just say I was told no. I do not recommend this place it only for addicts and prostitution. Was only away from the front desk about 10 minutes. After speaking with owner he was advised not to take any money for my wife’s account cause it would be disputed. This place is nasty and doesn’t even deserve a 1. Look elsewhere please.

This place is absolutely disgusting and dirty. there are 2 12 year old brothers running the front desk, roaches all throughout the motel and there was not one mirror in our room. The shower leaked horrendously and the ac was leaking as well and I’m pretty sure there was dried blood on my covers. They overcharge for that dump and I wouldn’t stay there if I was homeless. Took me 30 mins to check out and get my security deposit back because the 12 year old was still asleep.

The facility is a bit older. Located across the street from the ocean. Easy walk to the beach. The beds were super comfortable! We missed not having a coffee pot in the room. The staff was very nice and helpful.
