I made reservations here because we were taking a vacation on a budget. I learned my lesson and will never stay here again. The showers barely had any water coming out, there was a bug in my loofah one morning, then another in the floor the last day we were there. The carpets were absolutely disgusting and the overall feeling... More

We booked at the Caravelle and were put in the St Johns inn. We were put in a room wayyyyyyy at the back of the building down a very dark hall way. It smelled like beer and cigerettes . No elevator to get to the second floor so we had to lug our bags up a huge ramp. Just bad... More

The hotel is average, room was clean and the pool is heated and nice. This is for the person who don't mind just a room and a pool nothing fancy. You can walk to the Caravelle hotel for the other pools and your one block off the beach access.

I just recently had my stay at the so called "Caravelle" resort. I must admit that I have never been so disappointed. As I booked my room online, I watched videos and reviewed pics. Nothing that is portrayed online was what I received when I arrived. I understood that I was in a non ocean front room, but I did... More

We booked through the Caravelle Resort and they put us in St Johns Inn. This place was downright gross and about as good as a bad Days Inn. I would say trashy is the one word to sum up the hotel and resort. Upon check in they tried a little timeshare upsell trick by telling us the resort was booked,... More

We decided to start our trip early, and booked a night stay the Red Roof Inn in Myrtle Beach. When we got there the place was filthy. Needless to say we needed a place to stay for the night. I called the company that manages the Caravelle and they were able to get us a room in St Johns Inn.... More

This property is used for condos and for nightly rentals. We thought we were staying at the Caravelle as our reservations showed, but we were given a room here. The pool is decent, the location is very close to the pool and beach, but the room is old and smelled like mold/mildew. I think we paid 80 bucks a night... More

Great pool, however this motel had gotten even worse over the years. No working elevator. No working wireless. The room is old however sort of clean. If you don't care about the room and only want a to swim.
