Recently bought by Marriott… definitely NOT Marriott quality! They are renovating as I’m writing. I’d wait a while before booking. Very uncomfortable beds. Units are dated, mold in bathroom. Too much begging to go on time share tour!

Renovation in progress! I asked if I had a renovated room and was told yes, but after entering our unit the windows were filthy, carpeting was stained, furniture was very uncomfortable, skillet warped, outdated plates were too large for the tiny dishwasher and the bed was uncomfortable. Needless to say we left our week time share trade early extremely disappointed. This place has a lot of potential and I hope it reaches the standards Marriott properties are known for when renovations are completed.

Location is right by the Broadway Park convenient to all activities. Staff is courteous and friendly. Our suite is very spacious with separate kitchen and living room, and a large jet tub in the bedroom.

No restaurant on site. No food available on site. Pool bar closed so no alcohol on site. Pool slide is out of service. No staff available anywhere and also not available by phone. First time staying at Sheraton property for 20 year Marriott time share owner. Worst property I’ve seen in those 20+ years.

We love Vistana, we are members and have stayed at them often, but if you're traveling here before June 2023, you need to read this: services they say online are open, are NOT. To start - we were lucky enough to get preferred check-in and it was delightful, free glass of wine, snacks, and a box of taffy. Do not attend a 'presentation' under any circumstances and don't bother buying local tickets, its faster and less expensive online. The room was as expected, we were on a high level not too far from the pool (building 13) which we requested - great. The bad news: during construction there is no Marketplace to buy necessities, no restaurant, no pool bar and no minigolf (they did gave us free tickets to a local course). The front desk is in a unit near the gate - not really convenient. They've also discontinued pool towel exchange, so you constantly have to do laundry (they give you 2 boxes of detergent). We were also unlucky enough to be there during goose nesting season and the many geese were so incredibly noisy, they woke us up at 6am every morning (even with doors and windows closed) and they just. didn't. stop squawking all day long.. We enjoyed our vacation nonetheless but you just need to be aware of the construction closures.…

The Good News: The resort is centrally located. It's approximately 6 blocks from the ocean front, but 2 blocks from Broadway at the Beach. The check in staff did their job but weren't exceptionally welcoming or friendly. Smiles were minimal. The grounds are very nice. The buildings are close to one another. When the lots are full it can be congested, especially near the main entrance. The pool and other activity area were really nice. Familys will enjoy the many amenities. The grounds staff were very friendly. The Bad News: The 1st room we were assigned reeked of cigarette smoke. The front office staff offered to change our room and have a staff member bring us the new keys and room assignment. Didn't happen. We waited for a significant amount of time then went and picked up the keys ourselves. The 2nd room was very worn and damaged. The furniture was scuffed. The rugs were filthy. Towels were torn and threadbare. The window was dirty. We expected more and definitely cleaner. I would not recommend this property until the rooms are renovated. Definitely not worth the current rates. …

Lovely resort in a quiet area which is conveniently located. Units were well- maintained and clean. There was a minimum amount of dishes and cutlery. Staff was friendly and helpful. Grounds and amenities were nice. Only drawback was that there wasn’t a restaurant nearby.

No organized activities like other resorts. Also not everything available with construction going on. Was told several at check in the sales presentation would be no pressure, and that it would be informative of new programs wit Marriott. I asked about the new Abound program and was told I can look that up online. Then there was nothing but pressure ending with an insulting offer which I declined. They weren’t done yet there was an encore offer just as infuriating. I actually learned more at check in than at the supposed presentation.

Worst Bonvoy property by far. Rude gal at check in. did not even greet us upon walking in the door after 10 hours on the road. And there was no one else in the check-in area! Nothing to do at property. No marketplace. entire property is just old and rundown. Marriott should just sell this property as far as I am concerned.
