Stayed here for one night to be close to the Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk. It was close and reasonable. Room was clean, comfortable and cool. No remote control for the big tv. Manager tried to find one and program one with no luck. But tv worked and had plenty channels. Bathroom fixtures were a little shabby but water pressure in...

This place is freaking disgusting! Absolutely nasty! I've never walked into a hotel where somebody with me went into an asthma attack right as they walked into it. The beds were not made, not even sheets on the bed and the blankets were just thrown on the bed. The toilet was not even flushed. There was still pee and toilet...

There are two "Beach Bungalow" units on this property and it's in a nice atmosphere of shade trees with Spanish moss hanging down on Murrell's Inlet. You may rate it 3 out of 5 OR 4 out of 5 as I did depending upon exactly what you demand on premise. This happens to be the quaint sort of lodging that...

Paid for a week. The place has a beautiful landscape and very private location but the manager is the MOST rude and obnoxious person I've ever met! Left 2 days early because of his insults and glares everytime we went outside. Also, the rooms are very small and crowded and he didn't tell us until after we rented the room...

The Brookwood Motel is an awesome place with so many amenities I don't even know where to begin. It is quaint and a little bit older but Charming Charming Charming with them which character. It has an incredible View and it is located conveniently right off the Road. There is a pool overlooking the spacious parking lot and hotel grounds...

Like most of the reviews state, this hotel is old and in need of updating which would be cons for a long vacation. That being said, the bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept on in a hotel, and they used really fat, fluffy towels. Didn't expect that. Nights were pretty quiet while we were there also. Rooms...

My mother used to stay here every year, and always spoke highly of this quaint little place in Murrells Inlet. Unfortunately, it seemed that the management was different when we went for a big family vacation for July 4th holiday, and we had nothing but problems from start to finish. The woman who took our reservations got them wrong, and...

I travel to Murrell's Inlet often for scuba diving trips to the wrecks offshore. This time I decided to give the Brookwood a try. From an outward appearance, It's you average motel that was built in the '50's. Just what I was looking for. Inexpensive. The place is in decent shape for it's age and the owner was a very...

I have stayed here for the last 3 years and will be coming back for 2016. No this is not the Hilton...But it is quiet and clean. Staff are efficient and i have no complaints. It is a place you can feel safe and yet be close to all the biking events. Not crowded at all. Lots of resturants close...

The first clue that this isn't Southern hospitality is visible when you drive up to the office. Most motels have a pull under, drive through covering to protect their guests when it rains. Not here. The covering is there but the management put picnic tables under it so they can sit outside and smoke. If it's raining, too bad. Second...

“I stayed in a room that was obviously in a previous home. The guests in the front of the house were enjoying their beer while they watched me and tried to engage me in conversation. I didn't feel at all safe and was very glad I had my pit bull with me. I think they may have been employees or long term tenants. All I can say is WHERE IS THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT IN MURRELLS INLET???”
