My wife and I arrived on a Monday, and checked out on Sunday - we stayed in the King Suite with Harborside views. The room itself was very spacious, large bathroom with a large tub, separate standing shower, jack and jill sinks, and the toilet had a sliding door so if someone had to use it, the other could still use the bathroom. Some of the furniture has seen some use, but it is to be expected, and the balcony was absolutely wonderful to sit out and watch the sunsets. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Only a few "cons" with the room that we noticed: the mini-fridge is true to it's name, so if we had leftovers from dinner, we had to play a little tetris to get things to fit. The table that is in the room had a chessboard painted on it (my wife and I love to play) but when we asked the front desk if they had pieces, they said it was not offered. Not a huge deal by any means, but would have been nice to have. Everyone was very courteous, and since it was our honeymoon, we didn't want to stay in the downtown area of Charleston. Instead we were able to relax at the resort, and it was an easy Lyft to get downtown. The resort also provides a shuttle every hour to get downtown, and back from N Market Street which is very convenient. The water taxi also heads out from the Harborside Club, and drops you in downtown (would recommend during rush hour). We got a couples massage at the spa which was lovely, professional, and just what we needed to kick off our honeymoon. We were able to spend the first few days just enjoying the views of the harbor, relaxing by the pool, and sitting by the fire at night. There is a marina store located on-site that you can find some commonly needed items (sunscreen, advil, etc.) but it can be quite pricey - on the way back from dinner on Tuesday night we stopped by a grocery store, and picked up snacks for the room, champagne, etc. Overall, we were very happy with our stay, and if you're looking to have a resort style experience and have easy access to gorgeous downtown - The Beach Club is an excellent place to be!…

our bathroom was very unclean, we had boogers in two parts of our bathroom with toilet paper on the floor, hair on the floor, in the tub, in the shower, and by the rolled up bathmat. There was also a booger on a wall in the hallway, our outlet cover by the beds was partially broken and represented a safety hazard. Floors in the bedroom were poorly vacuumed. We noticed this, it was late at night. The front desk helped get everything clean but we were out of our room with our dog from 9ish to 11pm at night. We were already exhausted from a long drive.

Resort was not but way too high and not accommodating enough. There was not one microwave on the entire resort. I chose this hotel for my family reunion. We didn't get a good discount at all. We spent a lot of money at this resort and we're unsatisfied. The rooms are nice I enjoyed the room and pool.

Would recommend this resort for business or getaway. Be aware, there is no room service for dining and there is no bell service, but otherwise, we enjoyed it. Super clean and the linens are fabulous! Stayed on the Beach Club side which was a nice upgrade.

Great resort. First class in almost all cases. Dinner at the Fish House was excellent and was enhanced by friendly and professional waitstaff. Casual fun times at the Reel Bar. First I’d like to say the property is beautiful. Amenities great. Convenient location for downtown Charleston, Shem Creek, and plantations. Rooms are big, beautiful, and clean. I know some people complained of housekeeping but my rooms were taken care of every day. You can click a button to alert them that you want privacy (doorbell turns red). So if someone’s room was not being serviced, maybe they didn’t realize that button was pressed. Overall staff were nice and friendly but the bartenders at the Tiki Bar were not. My biggest disappointment was the cleanliness of the grounds. I understand it’s a huge property and perhaps hard to maintain, but as you walk around the beautiful landscaping there’s a lot of garbage. And the pool is quite dirty (clumps of hair floating, dirty walking area around, garbage left in or around pool like cups, popsicle sticks, and the bottom of pool the looked like it needed a good vacuum) Overall a wonderful stay, just wish more attention was given to the outside. …
