I reserved a room for a meeting I had in the area. The first room they put me in was awful. There were stains on the mattresses, sheets, curtains, and lampshades. I asked to be moved. They were very kind and moved me to a different room. This room was perfect. It had been renovated and was much cleaner. It even had a brand new mattress. I read reviews stating how rude employees were. I experienced the exact opposite. They were wonderful and understood that I didn’t feel comfortable staying in the first room. Breakfast is extremely limited, but it tasted great. Just make sure if you book here, you get one of the updated rooms in the building where the office is.

We booked a 2 night stay at this motel. When we arrived in the middle of the night, there were people hovering around the sidewalks. Watching us enter our room. Checking out our every move. There were people that live here grilling at 1 am and letting their children play in front of other rooms. The first room they gave us had roaches. The 2nd room they moved us to had stained sheets and a foul odor. We went to check out of the room on Saturday evening because when we arrived there was a family beside us with 7 or more kids running the sidewalk and their mother screaming at them for 30 minutes straight. We decided that we would change hotels. The hotel staff did not have another room to accommodate us ( not that we would have stayed ) and REFUSE to give a refund. On Friday night when we checked in I slept in my van because I was afraid someone was going to steal stuff out of there. There were cars and people coming and going on night long as if they were running drugs, or prostituting. Maybe both? This Motel still refuses a refund after hearing all this. Stay far away from this place. Its awful and dirty. Go to the Econo lodge down the rd. Way more pleasant and only $10 more than this dump.

The room was filthy There were big stains on carpet and the chair in the room was filthy. The room stank and when I complained they sent a man with a spray bottle of Odor Ban. It did not get rid of the smells, just added more. The tub was stained bad. The router was too weak to reach our room. The smells were making me sick and I have cancer so do not need anything else to make me sick. When we told the clerk this she was flippant about it. The breakfast consisted of coffee and apple and banana. We did not stay for our whole time and requested a refund for time left but they would not refund it If you stay there avoid room 133 at all cost!

We looked for a hotel that would take pets as we were returning after the hurricane evacuation. The staff was friendly. Things turned bad when we went to the two rooms we had reserved. There was animal feces under the bed and an old dog toy in the one room. In both rooms the pillows had hair on them. The mattress covers had animal hair on them. The staff offered a different room for the soiled room, however, the other room had kitty litter on the floor under the sink. The front desk was helpful and came and vacuumed it up but with three young kids and the pets, we couldn't bring ourselves to stay here. Instead we drove through the flooded NC lowlands at night to get home. They did credit our account.

I stay in places that were not near as nice as this place. From check-in to check-out everything was good. The room is big enough and has everything, but lotion (kinda surprised about that). Their breakfast was standard continental fare and the rate was very reasonable.

Stayed two nights while visiting for my mother's 80th birthday. We've stayed in some sketchy places in Lugoff, so this was a pleasant surprise. Had room 138.. it was huge and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower had GREAT water pressure. The office girl (Betty) who checked us in was very friendly and knew all the local places. Will definitely stay here again. So glad we found a decent place to stay while visiting my mother.

I needed a room for one night with a pet. Very inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. Price was right, and very accommodatiing with a big dog. Room was rough , but pretty clean. They have smoking rooms, which you have to get to bring a pet. Just had coffee for B’fast, but they do have a limited free breakfast. Not much choice, but enough to get you going. Would I go back.........,probably, but it’s not for the faint of heart. Lots of extended stay guests.

Wow! The reviews here are harsh! I don't see the problem. I travel all over the world and I've seen better, but I've seen much, much worse. I say the room was big, reasonably clean and very affordable. Extremely comfortable all around. Newer flat screen TV- with by far the best channel selection I've ever seen! A nice microwave oven, a Refrigerator- already cold. Plenty of space with a sitting area bigger than the last room I had in Amsterdam for a third the price. The WiFi was excellent. I was able to stream Sirius radio continually. The bedbug thing is probably a hoax. I don't believe it. I booked this to be somewhat near the Darlington Racetrack. Done deal! The staff was overly polite. I stayed two days and the room got made up while I was right next door enjoying the heck out of Shoney's amazing breakfast buffet. I don't remember an easier stay.

Stayed there for the eclipse. The place was FILTHY. The Owners have a VERY VERY BAD Oder. The laundry help was at the laundry room cursing up a storm. They were laughing and joking about how they were keeping anything that was left of value from the quest. She was screaming mother fudger every other word. Extremely rude and filthy DO NOT DO NOT STAY HERE Well lets just post the BETTER BUSINESS There were bed bugs in the hotel, nasty flies and fleas every where. I had to beg to switch rooms and I would not bathe my children in that bath. We checked in on July 2 and just dropped our stuff off in the room. We returned later that night and realized the room was nasty disgusting with bugs every where and that the bathroom was nasty. I went and begged to change rooms. They finally found another room for us. The lady told me that I could not have my money back because we paid for a weekly rate, yet we didn't pay the weekly rate we paid 470 dollars to stay there. The next day I was told that I needed to pack up my stuff and that they had no clue where they were going to put us for the next couple of nights. I was upset because I paid 470 dollars I should not have to be packing up my stuff and moving constantly. That was in no way shape or form fair to my children. I have been trying to call the manager for a month because once I finally got him to talk to me he promised that he would take care of us. Yet it has know been a month and I haven't heard a word from him. I have called every week on Wends. Well today when I called on Thursday I got this lady and she was mean, rude and nasty. I was being nice and she told me that I was in the wrong. (Show Less of Complaint) Desired Settlement All I really want from this business is to reduce down what we were paying to the weekly pay and then return the rest of the money to us. WE would not have any problem had they done that the first day instead of us getting the run around about where the manager actually is.
