Loved every second of our weekend at The Red Horse Inn. The owners were very nice and accommodating. The food was very good. The fireplace was so nice. Beautiful views. The town of Landrum is really a lovely little town.

My husband and I were gifted a stay in the Hayloft cottage at the Red Horse Inn from his parents as a wedding present. We had spent the previous week traveling for our wedding and honeymoon, and they thought we might enjoy a little relaxation before heading back home. From the moment we turned off the road onto the gravel...

First of all, it's an Inn, not a Bed and Breakfast even tho breakfast was provided (previously frozen egg bake, fresh squeezed OJ and muffins which were delicious!) and coffee maker in the room. The East Room was well appointed and clean. Staying here reminded me of staying at a distant relatives house. The innkeeper was very kind and accommodating....

I've dreamt of this exact countryside setting: rolling green hills; white fences; views for miles; a sweet cottage for two (and a dog!); quiet and privacy. We stayed in the Huntbox, one of their two pet friendly cottages. Loved it: full kitchen with breakfast waiting in the fridge; whirlpool tub; very comfy queen bed and a loft. We ate twice...

The Dovecoat room was HUGE, as well as the bathroom. Idyllic scenery from the balcony or door and windows going onto the balcony. Excellent bed, water pressure, hot water & amenities, good lighting throughout. Lots of seating & covers & pillows. The owners have tried to think of everything to make your stay flawless. However, we have never stayed at...

The setting is beautiful, the owners are delightful and very caring and solicitous. The cottages are delightfully private, quiet, and well-spaced out in the pastures. The romantic welcome note on the four-poster bed, surrounded by rose petals was a charming welcome touch. On a slightly lower note, although the cottages are well spread out, the self-catering breakfast left us a...

My wife and I stayed at the Red Horse Inn this past weekend, and we loved it! The inn is very nice and very comfortable. We stayed in the Dovecote room, and it was very cozy and quiet. We felt like we had everything we needed and we had plenty of privacy (you never know if you'll get this at...

We stayed in the East room. The attention to detail was amazing. Nothing was left to chance. Next time we will try a cabin. There were even band aids if needed. Inthinkmevery room had a gas fireplace. They will prepare meals, take you on property tours, get tickets to The Biltmore and anything else you might need.

Came for a few days and enjoyed every min of it. We have been following the Red Horse on Facebook and the pictures don't begin to show how amazing the place is... I have never seen beautiful cottages tucked on acres of green grass and views.

The grounds are beautiful, the cottages are private, and the innkeepers very helpful. We took our dog and stayed in one of the dog friendly cottages. It was very clean with no evidence of prior dogs. The bed was VERY comfortable. We had a wonderful time.
