Detailed Reviews
Beautifully decorated lobby and room. Staff was very friendly and helpful when checking in. That was the only time we needed to interact with them as the room was flawless. The restaurant smelled delicious and it was hard to pass up after a long day of driving. But we followed the advice of a friend to check out a local restaurant. Advice that the desk clerk fully endorsed when we asked for directions. We plan to return for another stay and will be sure to try out the hotel restaurant next time. The one thing that kept me from giving 5 stars was the thin walls and ceiling. We could clearly hear our neighbors movements, but none were very boisterous and it was fairly easy to block out. Very Clean - Highly Recommend!

My family and I stayed at the hotel while we were in town for a wedding. We had a great experience!
Decor: Modern, artsy vibe with many original pieces such as the Steve Jobs portrait and spark plug sheep.
Rooms: Rooms are large and comfortable. There are hair dryers, shampoo/conditioner, soap, and lotion available. Most importantly the AC is ice cold! It’s generally quiet but the trains that run through town blast their horns obnoxiously. Not sure why …. The town really should look into a noise ordinance for this. It’s completely unnecessary but not the fault or control of the hotel.
Parking: Free parking at the back of the hotel in a lot.
Food: There is a free breakfast in the morning consisting of whole fruit and cereals. The bistro that opens for dinner is delicious! Hands down one of the best po boys I’ve ever had. If you’re in the mood for something else, there are many options on Main Street within a 2-5 minute walk.
The only thing this hotel is missing is a pool! We had a great stay and will return in the future.

We stayed at inn at the crossroads during art fields with a few other couples. The hotel is nice, a little modern, with a few pretty finishing touches. The courtyard is beautiful, with roses blooming, wonderfully landscaped planters, and a big planter with pitcher plants. The rooms were fine, beds comfy, linens were nice. It was all very clean. The rooms have a small refrigerator. It is on Main street and very convenient for art fields. The cafe was closed due to covid, but they did have yogurt and muffins free for breakfast.

The two queen bed room is spacious and comfortable. The large screen tv is nice. Having a fridge in the room is always convenient! The lobby is spacious enough for meeting friends and well decorated. Beds are very comfortable! However, don't plan on sleeping in. The walls are very thin. Room above us sounded like a traveling tap dance troupe was performing until 11pm and at 9am housekeeping was already vacuuming rooms. Overall, it was a pleasant stay as it's very convenient to restaurants and shopping but if you want peace and quiet, you won't find it here.

After Airbnb and VRBO canceled 2 homes that I rented in Johnsonville, I found this gem just 25 min from my daughter’s home! We are in town from West Tennessee area to visit our new grandson. My husband and I rented the 2 king bed suite with a full kitchen, dining room & den. My folks came in for the week with us and all the extra space was great! All the staff, from front desk, restaurant, bar, and housekeeping were very nice! The food from the restaurant was exceptional! We enjoyed the patio, especially in front of the waterfall, every night! I loved looking at all the beautiful local artwork, my favorite being the spark plug sheep!! My mother and I loved shopping at all the great boutiques and we love the restaurants and ice cream parlor, all within walking distance! Everyone we met in this quaint town were so friendly! We will definitely be back and recommend the Crossroads to everyone!

This past Thursday, 10/08/2021, we had the most enjoyable stay at the Inn at the Crossroads in Lake City, SC. My wife was going to an event in Lake City. At the last minute I decided to go along for the ride. I am glad I did. I can’t say enough good things about the Inn at the Crossroads. It is certainly a gem. Everything from the décor of the lobby, dining room, and the relaxing area with a beautiful grand piano, and guestrooms was impeccable and calming. There is a well-designed outdoor area for setting around reading or just relaxing in the beautiful area. Everyone on the staff is just plain nice. I can’t omit the food. I had a most delicious meal. I could go on and on. If you get to Lake City, be sure to visit the Inn at the Crossroads. If nothing else enjoy a remarkable dinner.

Our experience for the bruch was nothing short of amazing!! Cindy did an outstanding job with our team making sure our Brunch was well organized and the setup was superb! She and her staff were very hospitabl and took care of our every need! Cindy ensured we had the food selections that fit our tastes and our budget! The food was amazing, plentiful and appealing to the eyes! If you are looking to have an event, please consider this venue, as their Courtyard is very spacious and beautiful. This outside are was perfect for our event a it allowed as much space as needed amongst attendees. Cindy and crew we will book again soon! The overnight stay was very comfortable, clean and peaceful.!!! Another great part about it, is we didn't have to clean the kitchen after the Brunch! Happy Holidays to The Inn At The Crossroads! Thank you for making us feel safe and clean in the midst of these times.

I grew up in Lake City but currently live in Palm Beach, FL. I recently brought my family back to visit my parents for Thanksgiving. This hotel is incredible. It's a gem! I have stayed at Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons, JW Mariott, etc... the King Suite is comparable to any 5 star hotel accommodation in the hotel industry. Beautiful hotel. Small Shower but otherwise 5 star. I love to see Lake City becoming a stopping point full of Southern Charm

Charming boutique hotel. We stayed here once before and had an excellent experience with check in and with getting the bed height adjusted to the height needed for my husband to transfer from his wheelchair. Just checked in for another stay. Same experience. Front desk was accommodating and didn’t raise an eyebrow at our strange request. He contacted maintenance who was at our room before we could even get there. Harper was so willing to help us again, remembering what he did for us last time. He is enthusiastic, cheerful, so very glad to help. We couldn’t help but notice what a shining example of true customer service he presented. Well done Harper

Pawleys Island, South Carolina, United States9 contributions3 helpful votesWe may have to evacuate because of Matthew. Do you allow pets? My daughter has stayed at the Crossroads in the past.
Thanks,

Hi Vince,
Unfortunately, we don't allow pets. I do know that the LaQuinta Inn and Suites in Florence allows pets. Their phone number is 843-629-1111. I hope you, your family and your fur babies stay safe during the storm.
