Stayed at club level room 532 which was good location and nice room. Club level offerings were inferior to our recent stays at Ritz club levels. Quality and table settings at Loggerhead Beach side dining was very dark and needs work. Ocean Room dinner was very pricey and not worth the dollars.

30 minute drive from the airport but well worth it. Luxurious hotel but casual and relaxing. Restaurants, staff, accommodations couldn't be better. Breakfast the best pancakes ever.Lovely guest shops. Jasmine Restaurant the best for breakfast

We returned to the Sanctuary for our second time and were just as pleased as the first time. From arrival to departure, the service at the Sanctuary is impeccable. The staff are friendly, helpful, and never ostentatious. The staff go above and beyond to make guests comfortable and seem to greatly enjoy their jobs. The rooms at the hotel are... More

We called ahead at noon, hoping we could check in early. The girl I spoke with at the front desk was very nice...said that all I had to is come in early and if the room was not ready, they would call housekeeping, and it would be ready shortly. We did not want to have to wait, so we occupied... More

After ten years spending summers on Isle of Palms my wife and I decided to try something different and go to Kiawah. We rented a villa on Kiawah from a private real estate company (No affiliation with the Sanctuary or Kiawah Golf Resort). The unit seemed nice but we started finding the occasional Palmetto Bug in our room. We tried... More

This hotel oozes Southern Charm and its best! Upon arriving the bellmen are helpful as well as making sure you are well hydrated with a bottle of ice cold water. Smart! Its quite a sight to see all of the green bikes aligned outside for all to use and exploring this wonderful property. The entry way of the hotel has... More

This was our fourth time to visit The Sanctuary so obviously, we really enjoy it! The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are very nice and the people are friendly. There are lots of things to do, you could never get bored here. We love the beach, riding bikes, the crafting classes, but mostly just relaxing. It is very, very expensive!... More

This property has become a family tradition for us. We began staying at the Sanctuary in 2007, when our boys were 8 and 6 years old. The property was perfect for them and us at that age and now when they are 17 and 15, as well. The beautiful, pristine beach and luxuriously decorated accommodations are impressive without being intimidating... More

Have been a guest for the last nine years. This hotel has never disappointed me. From the moment you drive to the front door you are treated first class. I've always stayed on the club floor. The food and wait staff and concierge on club floor are excellent. They offer 3 meals a day plus snacks and drinks of all... More
