We booked a week here at the Sanctuary. Our room was absolutely stunning and we have a lovely patio facing the ocean. The room is well appointed and we have the room serviced twice daily. There are excellent restaurants here in the hotel and others close by so you don't have to venture far if you choose not to leave... More

This is one of the most beautiful hotels I have been at. It is loaded with old southern charm. It is quite expensive at about $500 a night but you can stay at the villas for about $200 per night. Only problem with villas is that since owned by individuals some are nice and some are not. Beaches are beautiful... More

I have to say we were obviously in the minority with our review. We frequent The Cloister in Sea Island GA and had the same expectations given the price. Arrived at noon, room not ready til 5:30 after several calls, charges on our bill that were not ours, one person to service beach, rooms while spacious are essentially a glorified... More

The Sanctuary hotel was absolutely the best hotel I have ever stayed. The service was top notch the food was excellent (Caesar Salad with the bacon and blackened Salmon) OMG good. But the icing on the cake was the service I received for Lily. She made my stay, no matter what I need or.asked for she made it happen. So... More

We selected the Sanctuary because we wanted to simply relax. We weren't interested in playing golf, we were interested in the beach and the hotel amenities. The staff were amazingly helpful and unlike one of the previous reviewers, I found them to be authentic and highly invested in the guests' needs. From our hotel room service to the waitstaff in... Yes the beach is very nice and the coast is beautiful but once you get off of the beach and into the hotel/resort area you're transported to a bland and boring antebellum South fantasy land. It seemed like there were a lot of rich old white people from New Jersey/New York walking around in golf clothes. I can't believe people... More

All aspects of this getaway were perfect. I do not have any negative comments regarding this resort. The property, the staff, and services were better than I could have imagined! A definite return will occur!

We live in Savannah and wanted a quick trip for us and the kids (boys 2,5). The sanctuary is able to maintain 5 star class and accommodations while being completely family friendly. The rooms are clean and spacious- traditional southern decor but well appointed and don't feel too done. The food breakfast thru dinner at Jasmine Porch (the onsite restaurant)... More

We spent the belated celebration of our 26th Anniversary at the Sanctuary. Service is over the top. Very comfortable rooms and amenities. Quite a number of options for food. Of course - if you want to play golf (which I did not this time) 5 courses from which to choose. Room service was accomplished in short windows while we were... More

Everything about our stay was five star. Food was excellent, great service, beautiful room and outdoor terrace. I had a massage which was very relaxing and well done. First class hotel. Would definitely recommend.
