Great location from which to explore the Peloponnese. Monemvasia is a must see destination. Fantastic view of sunsets from the balcony. Room was cleaned daily following Covid aware guidelines. How we miss the breakfasts served daily on our balcony by Gregory (the owner) and his team who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Gregory was extremely knowledgeable about the area and was always ready to pass on useful tips about places to visit. We will be back ...

Nice, family run hotel on the seashore next to a sandy beach with seabeds and a good restaurant. The room was clean, and had very comfortable beds. A delicious breakfast was served (in the room because of covid-19). The sight from the balcony was splendid ( especially the sunset) ,and the staff helpful. Mr Pantelis did his utmost to make our stay so sweet that we will return to Elea mare next time we visit the Peloponese.

Great location with absolutely perfect host and very good breakfast. After a few steps you are at a small, beautiful beach with a very good bar and tavern. Good starting point for excursions, for example to Monemvasia.

Nice clean room, beautiful vue of the sea and very helpful staff. Following the path in the front of the hotel leads you to a very nice and quite beach. The only thing we didn't like was the coffee served with our breakfast.

My family just returned from a 5 day holiday escape in Laconia at Elea Mare Hotel. As keeping my family safe during our holiday was my priority, I was pleased to see that this was possible while staying in such an amazing place. The friendly informative owner of this seaside hotel , strictly following current health guidelines, led us to our immaculately clean room with a sea view which made us feel like we were on a cruise ship. My teenage sons were pleased with the wifi connection in the room and the comfortable beds. A delicious breakfast that included locally produced fruit, honey and marmalade, organic eggs, freshly squeezed juice and homemade sweet and savory pies was brought to the room on trays wrapped in cellophane. The room was cool even during the hot August afternoons due to the sea breeze wafting in. Watching the sunset on the balcony in the evening was so incredible that we even decided to stay in a couple of nights instead of going out to the village taverns and cafes. It takes only 2 minutes on foot to reach the organized beach with sunbeds, a beach bar and tavern. However, for those who prefer social distancing, there are plenty of nearby beaches where you can set up your own umbrella, swim in the crystal clean waters and eat at a tavern that serves freshly caught fish or local delicacies. What a wonderful way to recharge while feeling safe!
