Our party of 3 adults had. Magnificent time here this December. The common spaces were beautifully decorated for the holidays and there was attentive staff in the lobby to help with every need . The room was generously sized , with robes and slippers etc. Some nice extra touches included a choice of pillow materials (bamboo, microfiber etc) , all in zipper bags and labeled . The bathroom had a scale , a dark colored washcloth for makeup removal (such a simple but so practical touch) , and separate toiletries for stall shower and deep soaking tub . The tennis clinics were reasonably priced and really well run. There was a heated salt water outdoor pool and hot tub , so even winter visitors could get in a nice dip and soak. There were ample bikes with baskets and locks for tooling around the island. The inn had an app which gave special promotions, interactive map , links to the restaurants and current weather conditions. Many local shops and restaurants had partnerships which offered discounts on purchases. The Links restaurant at the golf club there was amazing . Don’t miss their bananas foster ! And we felt the price was reasonable enough that we would not hesitate to come back . Everyone had a wonderful time ! Sorry I didn’t take more photos !…
My wife and I love visiting Sea Pines Resort. There are great condominiums you can rent. They have great opportunities for relaxation - the beach, bike trails, play golf and wonderful views to enjoy. We usually work in several morning pickle ball sessions at South Beach tennis club. There are several on/off resorts restaurants we can recommend Links, Quarterdeck (at Sunset) Charbar, Aunt Chiladas, and Southern Coney (breakfast). We love to ride the trails and on the beach. The bakery at Sea Pines has wonderful treats to enjoy. Oh if you like excitement you can look for alligators on bike rides. They are in the ponds in the resort. We usually see 4-5 a day.
We love going back to the Sea Pines Resort any chance we get. They have the best restaurants, beaches, golf courses, bike trails and people in the island. Once you are in resort gates, you won't want to leave. Quick tip: if you are planning a stay in HHI, make sure to book through this resort to get access to all the great amenities.
Fishing trip was fun, guide (Kevin) was very knowledgeable about Hlton Head. He had good fishing equipment, on a very clean nice boat. There were four of us for a four hour trip, we caught 2 and half foot hammerhead shark, trout and red drum. We are not from South Carolina and two red drum had to be thrown back, over the 23" limit, other states where we fish ( TX & LA) the limit is much bigger, 27" in TX. I would highly recommend Valor charters, everything with Kevin was very positive.
Brought a group of 20 guys for 4 nights lodging, 3 rounds of golf, and several meetings. The golf was ok not great but very expensive. Harbour Town Golf Links is no where near worth $400. I will never do business with this company again. Next trip to Hilton Head, I will look for another venue.
