Reset and ready to bring it home!!! The weather was perfect, the sunrises on the beach amazing. The food, lectures and classes were great and I was impressed almost everyone has a degree and takes "your" my experience very seriously.

Hilton Head Health is a place for individuals to go and kick start their health, get away and relax while doing something healthy for yourself, or looking to reinforce habits beginning to weaken. Trip advisor wants me to comment on the accommodations first, but please know this place is so much more than just a place to lay your head. The accommodations are nice. Because HHH strives to build a community while you're there, the rooms are set up the same way. You have a private bedroom and bathroom but also have a common room and kitchen that is shared with 1-3 others in the villa. There are also stand alone villas that are not shared. I heard that sometime next summer they will be adding a lodge that will have various room options. The villas are all positioned so that you can have a beautiful (short) walk to the facility or be picked up by their shuttle. As for the rest, your meals are included and are amazing, the fitness classes are individualized, and the opportunities are endless. HHH provides classes/life style choices that can be replicated at home. They are not trying to be a week of bootcamp, rather a jumpstart to being able to make a change and sustain it. Check this place out if you're looking for something energizing and relaxing.

Let me start by saying this place is amazing. If you’re looking for a place that will get you moving, eating right, feeling relaxed and just totally ready to get healthy then look no further. I stayed there in June of 2019 for 6 glorious nights, solo from the family, ready to get myself on the right path and get back to a healthy weight and feeling good. Quick things to know. They have two programs to choose from when you book and arrive. I did the “Be Well” plan. Meals are included, snacks and an individualized plan is included. Spa credits are included. As many fitness/nutrition classes you want to take. Personal attention and Fisk setting included. A gorgeous campus and well equipped accommodations. Bottom line, this was a vacation that I came back feeling recharged and ready to make some changes. So often we get back from vacation and need a vacation because of the vacation. Not the case here. I went home 2 inches off my waist, 7 lbs off the scale, and most importantly. Some meals/eating habits and some easy fitness that I could replicate. Going back just as soon as the side says I can.

This was my second year. Last year was almost flawless. This year had quite a few hiccups. Even though the spa services were excellent, the manicure does not last more than a couple of days, which is frustrating. Within 48 hours, the gel last year and the dip this year peeled up from the corners. The receptionist was new this year and messed up all of my spa visits--I left each time more stressed than I arrived. Any apology I received came from other staff--in fact, the fault was laid on me. At checkout, I went to the spa first and confirmed in writing that I had a -0- balance. I walked straight to the front desk, and there was a spa balance, so again, I had to argue. The instructor who teaches the dance type cardio classes needs help with rhythm and how to transition and use an 8-count approach. She's really nice, but considering the patronage, a transition that is bumpy could cause some to injure themselves. I walked out the second year from her class. There is a tree that holds notes from family, etc., which are very encouraging. Most of us check it daily. My daughter sent my best friend and I a note, but it was never added to the message tree. I was sad and puzzled because I usually hear from my daughter. When I returned home, she asked if we liked our messages. I contacted the front desk, and after a search they were found in the emails. The snacks are wonderful, as are most of the meals. As long as there is a fall back you like, you are good. The filets are quite tasty! I especially enjoyed the drum class--the instructor is so sweet and excited, you can't help but enjoy it. Tabata was incredible. ANYTHING taught or presented by LynnAnne is a don't miss class/presentation. I will most likely return next year, but I hope the mishaps are over because I come and pay dearly to relax. I was given 50% off of two spa treatments effected by the mess ups, but it was still stressful. I never was able to squeeze in the third appointment. Most staff are wonderful and accommodating--especially the waitstaff in the restaurant. I do not use the accommodations--I use AirBnB.
