It's a welfare motel with room and lawn furniture outside each door. This is not a place you spend the night at but instead a place you live at with your monthly check. It's one of the most disgusting places you will ever see.

Traveling to Florida for Christmas we found this inexpensive motel just off the highway. It was well lit and the people were pleasant. The rooms were well kept and clean and with two little stores just across the street and a few fast food restaurants close by we were able to find everything we needed. There were cameras for security... More

Broken face on phone revealing electronic guts: check. 4 inoperable electrical wall outlets: check. TV set inoperable with BOTH remote control AND manual set power button: check. Leaking AC and resulting soggy, musty carpet covering approximately 1/4 of room: check. The above listed problems pale in comparison to the gripping fear which grew inside me with each passing hour after... More

We were driving back to the northeast from a vacation in Florida, having just swung by Atlanta to catch a hockey game, and were looking to save a little money and stay at a cheap place to grab a few hours sleep. I saw the sign on the interstate advertising $25 or $30 rooms, so I figured, how bad could... More

This is a hole-in-a-wall dump. If you can stay in those places where frequent prostitution stings and above average crime occurs, then this is your place. Granted even the expensive 5 star places have their share of crime, etc, this place and neighborhood is TV/MOVIE style stereotypical dive.

Camelot Inn 20 Woodmeade Way Greenville, SC 29605 803-277-8430 I was looking for the Motel 6, which advertised $30 rooms but was a short distance from the interstate exit, when I saw this place handily right there with a big sign saying "all rooms $29.99". As I hadn't seen any reviews for the Motel 6, I figured this place would... More
