This is a very special place that has to be seen. Our room faced the marina and was amazing. The inn went through a complete redo after the floods of Florence. The work is incredible with the detail and quality. We are in love with the Inn keeper and family. This a family run establishment with personality and caring. Our new getaway place.

Our stay was very enjoyable and relaxing. The owners really made us feel at home and made recommendations for shopping and dinners. Breakfast served was always delicious and plentiful! The accommodations were clean, warm, and comfortable! Nothing like hopping into the jacuzzi after a day of walking to soothe tired muscles. The area is very quiet and serene with the Waccamaw River in close proximity. You could stroll along the Riverwalk in either direction of the Inn or sit in a rocking chair on the porch watching the people go by or go to the beach which is close by too. The Cypress Inn is a GREAT place to go to get away from the hussle and bussle. We'll be back!

Loved everything about The Cypress Inn. The owners are so nice, welcoming and accommodating. My stay here made me think of The Newhart Show at their Stratford Inn (if you remember that show), or either a scene from a Hallmark Movie. Loved drinking coffee in the morning downstairs and listening to the owner's wife sing as she prepared a delicious breakfast for us. Also, loved sitting in the living room of the Cypress Inn with their complimentary snacks, wine, or beer in the evening. The owner, Hugh, his wife and their daughter go above and beyond. Also, very clean! If you like this type of atmosphere, I don't think you will be disappointed. Also, very clean!

We really enjoyed our stay as we moved our daughter into college for her freshman year at Coastal Carolina University. Hugh and Carol couldn't have been more delightful hosts. Beautiful Inn and delicious breakfast. Thanks for a great stay. We will be back.

Asked for help in picking a room and I was very happy with the view. Everything in the room was spotless, and the huge sitting area was as well. Fabulous breakfast was served each morning, and we were offered more of everything. Nice porch overlooking the marina, cheap entertainment! The river walk is very nice, and we walked 5 minutes into town for dinner, very convenient. Innkeepers are very personable and attentive, I will be going back.
