Asked for help in picking a room and I was very happy with the view. Everything in the room was spotless, and the huge sitting area was as well. Fabulous breakfast was served each morning, and we were offered more of everything. Nice porch overlooking the marina, cheap entertainment! The river walk is very nice, and we walked 5 minutes into town for dinner, very convenient. Innkeepers are very personable and attentive, I will be going back.

Beautiful setting on the Waccamaw River in front of a beautiful marina. The city park is across the marina and is a perfect place to walk, with a river walk along the river. So beautiful that people have weddings in the midst of the walkers. There is a covered front porch overlooking the Marina. The inn is very clean and filled with antiques. The rooms are beautifully furnished and have a variety of choices for beds and baths. You can do a virtual tour online to choose your favorite. Carol and Hugh are very courteous and knowledgeable about the area. The breakfast is very good and Carol is quite accommodating for special diet restrictions. If you can't be happy here, you just can't be happy.

The Cypress Inn is just beautiful and the owners are super friendly and helpful. I've stayed there at least dozen times since Hugh and Carol Archer opened the Inn with Anne and George Bullock. Hugh and Carol are sole innkeepers these days and they make their guests feel welcome and spoiled with so many little extras to ensure a lovely stay.

I needed to be in Myrtle Beach for a legal matter and wanted to be near the Horry County Courthouse. The Cypress Inn was recommended and several of us involved in the trial stayed there. The property itself is very pretty and decorated very well. The entire place was clean and well maintained. I stayed in the Conservatory room and was very pleased with its eccentric layout and style. The bed was a little firm, but comfortable and the linens and blankets were nice. There were five pillows in the room, which was perfect for my sleeping style. The bathroom had a very large jacuzzi tub/shower. The water pressure is a little low (compared to my home) but it was adequate and the water temperature was plenty hot. The sink was a modified table that looked very nice. The Inn Keepers, Carol and Hugh, were great. Very friendly and accommodating, they were constantly asking how they could help up. The complimentary drinks and snacks were a welcome treat after a long day in court. Their restaurant suggestions were also very good. I also want to commend the excellent breakfast prepared by Carol. She goes all out with coffee, fruits and assorted entrees, all served on formal place settings. A wonderful experience before setting off to court. The only issue we experienced was the air conditioning that, due to a switch turned to heat on the main unit, did not work the first night, but the issue was corrected the next day and it worked fine. I highly recommend The Cypress Inn for all types of trips, including business. They have a large room in the annex that can be used for meetings, trial preparation and other gatherings of several people. So, while it is an ideal place for a pleasure trip, if you have business in Conway or nearby, it makes a great business hotel as well.

Our stay was wonderful. It literally felt like home. The rooms were beautifully decorated, it was extremely clean with very nice decor and each room had a special quality. I can't say enough about the hospitality of the married couple that own it . Breakfast was absolutely wonderful, home cooked and cooked with love for her guests and the wife , the owner prepared it herself. It will be a place we plan to attend again and do highly recommend the Cypress Inn. You won't be disappointed.
