Our stay was wonderful. It literally felt like home. The rooms were beautifully decorated, it was extremely clean with very nice decor and each room had a special quality. I can't say enough about the hospitality of the married couple that own it . Breakfast was absolutely wonderful, home cooked and cooked with love for her guests and the wife , the owner prepared it herself. It will be a place we plan to attend again and do highly recommend the Cypress Inn. You won't be disappointed.

I needed to be in Myrtle Beach for a legal matter and wanted to be near the Horry County Courthouse. The Cypress Inn was recommended and several of us involved in the trial stayed there.

The property itself is very pretty and decorated very well. The entire place was clean and well maintained. I stayed in the Conservatory room and was very pleased with its eccentric layout and style. The bed was a little firm, but comfortable and the linens and blankets were nice. There were five pillows in the room, which was perfect for my sleeping style.

The bathroom had a very large jacuzzi tub/shower. The water pressure is a little low (compared to my home) but it was adequate and the water temperature was plenty hot. The sink was a modified table that looked very nice.

The Inn Keepers, Carol and Hugh, were great. Very friendly and accommodating, they were constantly asking how they could help up. The complimentary drinks and snacks were a welcome treat after a long day in court. Their restaurant suggestions were also very good.

I also want to commend the excellent breakfast prepared by Carol. She goes all out with coffee, fruits and assorted entrees, all served on formal place settings. A wonderful experience before setting off to court.

The only issue we experienced was the air conditioning that, due to a switch turned to heat on the main unit, did not work the first night, but the issue was corrected the next day and it worked fine.

I highly recommend The Cypress Inn for all types of trips, including business. They have a large room in the annex that can be used for meetings, trial preparation and other gatherings of several people. So, while it is an ideal place for a pleasure trip, if you have business in Conway or nearby, it makes a great business hotel as well.

From the time my fiance and I got there, we were warmly welcomed to the Cypress Inn's beautiful atmosphere. The room we chose was so comfortable and homey. The amenities available such as unlimited wine and soft beverages, as well as the many snacks available, were a real treat! The next day we were welcomed to a breakfast fit for royalty! The food was graciously served by Val, whose husband, Vance, cooked and prepared it. The portions were huge, so not to waste food; we asked for half the portion on the following day. We didn't want to leave and enjoyed the comfort and hospitality so much that we stayed an extra day!

Our stay was very enjoyable and relaxing. The owners really made us feel at home and made recommendations for shopping and dinners. Breakfast served was always delicious and plentiful! The accommodations were clean, warm, and comfortable! Nothing like hopping into the jacuzzi after a day of walking to soothe tired muscles. The area is very quiet and serene with the Waccamaw River in close proximity. You could stroll along the Riverwalk in either direction of the Inn or sit in a rocking chair on the porch watching the people go by or go to the beach which is close by too. The Cypress Inn is a GREAT place to go to get away from the hussle and bussle. We'll be back!

I am not sure words can begin to express the seamless experience of planning a wedding with Val and her amazing team. From the very beginning she easy to work with, answering all of our questions, guiding us with suggestions, and adapting to every change and detail. From the rehearsal dinner, to the last minute change in wedding ceremony location (due to weather), to perfectly executed reception, everything was flawless. She covered every detail and brought our vision and style to life. The entire team worked together so smoothly that we hardly noticed they were there, except they consistently attended to every need. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We can't wait to return for one of their special dining events. On top of hosting an amazing event, they also provided luxury accommodations for our out of town guests. We could not have asked for a better event. Our expectations were abundantly exceeded and we would highly recommend their service for anyone planning a small wedding, engagement party, or corporate event.
Thank you to The Cypress Inn for making our daughter's special day perfect.

The Cypress Inn sits on the Waccamaw River. There are beautiful views from the bedrooms, and a front porch with rocking chairs which runs the length of the building. A great place to sit and have a complimentary drink after a day of sightseeing, beaching, or visiting.

Delicious homecooked breakfasts are served daily. The only slight downside to my visit was that they did not see my dietary requests, so confirm that before you arrive.

Loved everything about The Cypress Inn. The owners are so nice, welcoming and accommodating. My stay here made me think of The Newhart Show at their Stratford Inn (if you remember that show), or either a scene from a Hallmark Movie. Loved drinking coffee in the morning downstairs and listening to the owner's wife sing as she prepared a delicious breakfast for us. Also, loved sitting in the living room of the Cypress Inn with their complimentary snacks, wine, or beer in the evening. The owner, Hugh, his wife and their daughter go above and beyond. Also, very clean! If you like this type of atmosphere, I don't think you will be disappointed. Also, very clean!

We came down for a brief January vacation and were thrilled with our stay at The Cypress Inn. The innkeepers made us feel very much at home, and gave us lots of good advice about things to do in Conway and the Myrtle Beach area. Breakfast knocked our socks off every day! We stayed in the Carolina Room, which was beautifully furnished and welcoming. And the site on the Waccamaw river is ideal, we enjoyed the Riverwalk and the very short walk to town.

Beautiful setting on the Waccamaw River in front of a beautiful marina. The city park is across the marina and is a perfect place to walk, with a river walk along the river. So beautiful that people have weddings in the midst of the walkers. There is a covered front porch overlooking the Marina. The inn is very clean and filled with antiques. The rooms are beautifully furnished and have a variety of choices for beds and baths. You can do a virtual tour online to choose your favorite. Carol and Hugh are very courteous and knowledgeable about the area. The breakfast is very good and Carol is quite accommodating for special diet restrictions. If you can't be happy here, you just can't be happy.

The Cypress Inn is half the price and 10 times as nice as all the tired, worn out hotels in Myrtle Beach. The Inn is spotless, rooms are quaint, the breakfast is AMAZING, free drinks, beer/wine, & snacks in the dining/common room are super convenient. It’s right in the heart of Conway’s historic and cool downtown and right on the town’s very nice Riverwalk. You can go into Myrtle Beach and then escape back to this peaceful oasis just 20 minutes away!!

Thank you so much for coming to stay with us and highlighting the great things we have to offer. It is definitely nice to be able to go to spend the day near the beach then retreat to a small town, sit on the porch and relax or take a walk through the town park along the water. We hope to see you again in the future.
