We had a reservation for the hotel booked. Unfortunately, five days in advance to our arrival my daughter had an emergency surgery performed and is not allowed to travel for a period of time. When I called the hotel and told them what had happened,...More
This was my first and only visit to Columbia. A business associate secured this hotel for us. It was great. It is located in an old bank building which was interesting. Valet and check in were super easy and courteous. Rooms were decent size. Loved...More
I was in South Carolina for an emergency and I needed a place to stay in a pinch.

This hotel definitely wins points for being historic and well placed in the city. Hardwood floors, modern bathrooms, and an in-house café that serves Starbucks make it a great place to stay. The main reason this place gets high marks from me though is for...More

We offer valet parking for $22/night plus tax and it is available 24 hours. There is a self-parking garage on Sumter Street that is $12/night plus tax. If you are able to find a meter there is a 2 hour limit and after 5 p.m. metered parking is free until 9 a.m. the next business day. On Friday nights it is not recommended to park on Main Street due to the Soda City market that occurs every Saturday morning. The hotel is not responsible for towing fees. While checking in you may park in the valet lane and let the front desk know of which parking option you'd like. Please contact the hotel if you have further questions or concerns.

We used SPG points for our stay at the Columbia Sheraton, and at booking we just checked the box for 1 pet- we have a 65lb German Shepherd. No specifics were asked about him, and as far as I know there was no extra charge. But as I said, we used points, so I am not totally certain about the charge. But I don't think they have a restriction on size!
