This is a motel with a lot of mixed reviews. We found room well equipped -full refrigerator, microwave, range, lots of towels and a very comfortable bed. Actually we expected a lot less in this price range. We had only one problem, late night (9:30) construction noise- took a couple of calls to have it stopped. Breakfeast was fine with enough to eat to satisfy both of us. All in all a pleasant stay.

Very clean room. Breakfast was a little disappointing. Good wifi. Close to great shopping and restaurants. Will certainly stay here again. HVAC was very quiet. Love the bed. Lots of comfy pillows. Thanks.

I had a small dog w/ me and I was assigned a room at the end of the building where there was construction taking place. The entry way was appalling. Above the filthy glass door was a large window w/ broken panes and junk piled up in view of the guests. The outside corridor had mud caked walls and a discarded shopping cart that was left. Inside there was a metal door that was beat up and dented, looked like a jail. My room had food stains on the window sill, wet carpet and a strong smell of cleaning chemicals.

We reserved 5 bedrooms for a week and we’ll definitely return there. The location is great. Property is in good condition. It needs a bit of touch up but nothing major. Place is clean and breakfast is very decent. Good hotel for the price.

Guard your health and avoid this place at all costs. Booked because of the Wyndham name...huge mistake. When we first arrived I was surprised at the location (skanky, but not their fault) and the appearance (a squat motel but not their fault). There were two men working on their trucks in the garbage strewn parking lot (probably their fault) but then we went up to our room through a filthy corridor into a dingy room that smelled strongly like mold (that’s when it became their fault.) The Internet was poor, the bed uncomfortable. But the final straw was the cockroach crawling up my leg on the bed. I wish I had read all the reviews about the cockroach infestation - they aren’t exaggerating. So at 10:30 I booked another hotel across town and informed them we were leaving because of the nasty conditions. Their response was basically, “okay.” I had booked through hotels.com so on my way to the new hotel I called them to inform them of what was happening. They had me hold while they contacted the hotel and then she got back on the line to say that the hotel was “unwilling to issue any refund” and that the manager had been very rude. Big surprise. Appreciated my new hotel like never before that night...and then the next morning a cockroach ran out of my make up bag. My souvenir from Hawthorne “Suites.” To make matters worse, when I contacted Wyndham their response was that the managers at their hotels are responsible for living up to the “Wyndham standards” and after careful review they had decided the best course of action was for me to speak to that individual manager. Somehow it’s the customers responsibility to address an affiliate falling short of standards?! (Not to mention I told them I already HAD done that.) So, it looks like the new “Wyndham Standards” include dirty roach-infested motels with rude staff. My standards will now include avoiding every Wyndham property there is and advising people who prefer clean and friendly places to do the same. Horrible and costly experience.
