Hotel's Favorite
My husband and I stayed this past weekend. The check-in was easy. The staff is courteous. Our room was very clean even though in need of a refresh. Yes, the mattress is on the softer side, but we slept fine. Air-conditioner worked fine and was cool. The breakfast was good with the usual fare. (Need some jelly for toast.) My only complaint is there is no water pressure at prime times in the morning. We were on the third floor. We called the front desk and they let us shower in a vacant room across the hall, but it had the same issue. Some friends who stayed there said they didn’t have any water pressure either. I know the place was full for football weekend, but you should be able to take a shower and flush a toilet! We took one @6-6:30 the next morning and it was fine. I hope Choice Hotels modernizes and updates this hotel soon as it is reasonably priced and close to downtown Columbia. I would stay there again.

Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. They called the day of the reservation which was a nice touch. Rooms are clean and hotel is well maintained. Covid precautions are followed. A scaled down breakfast is offered in accordance with Covid guidelines - all foods are individually wrapped. Pet fee is reasonable.

We needed a one night stay in this area while making our way back home. This hotel is right off the interstate. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room is exactly as pictures and is what is expected at any Comfort inn. My only complaint was the person who kept the tv up full blast all night long. I know this is not the fault of the hotel and I carry ear plugs just for such things. We did not use the outdoor pool of course due to the season but it did look a little like a second thought. It sits in the parking lot. I am sure most kids don't mind. We also did not stay for breakfast as we left at 5:30 am. There probably wasn't a dozen people staying at this property on a Monday night in January. I don't understand why they want to bunch everyone right on top of each other so all the noise from slamming doors, hall noise and loud tv's can emit into your room while you are trying to sleep.... especially when you tell them that you are a light sleeper. I would stay here again and probably will.

This is a modest Comfort Inn and could use some sprucing up, but it is clean, staff is exceptionally pleasant, and if you travel with a pet, they are very accommodating. It is right off the highway but nice and quiet. Reasonably priced, comfortable beds and pillows. The outside pet area is very nice ... almost park like.

The staff was very nice. Amber went out of her way to change our room when we arrived. She was exceptional. Young lady at checkout very nice. Breakfast attendant was swamped as hotel was full. Lots of construction workers. Breakfast attendant had to request help to keep things full. No sausage.
We were on the third floor. As soon as you got off the elevator, there was a funny smell permeating the hall. The ceiling tile were saggy and full of water stains, which may have been the odor. Room was updated. Room itself was clean and bed was comfortable. Shower surround had been updated, but bathroom needed TLC. Floor needed a good scrubbing. The toilet area by floor was filthy. The tub was older and had anti-slip strips that needed replacing. They were filthy. Blood or wine stains on carpet by entry.
Hotel was extremely hard to get to from highway, even though it was just off the highway. Lots of traffic and so busy. Parking lot was a hangout for whomever. We did not feel safe. Homeless people were begging on the road. Sorry.

We frequently travel through South Carolina and pick up hotel coupons at thee welcome centers. On April 30th, 2022 we checked at this hotel with a $70.00 coupon (based on availability). Clerk stated that this rate did not apply on weekends. There was nothing of this nature mentioned on the coupon. It appears to be a policy applied at the discretion of the clerk! We were charged $136.80 for a substandard room and the hotel was far from fully booked. This bait and switch practice is far too common with Comfort Inn.

Manager was helpful in placing us in a very nice room after the first one had a bad odor. The young lady checking us in was not friendly but the manager made up for it. Our next room was clean and bed comfortable! Manager was helpful in helping us find an emergent care facility. The next morning coffee was not ready so we headed on down the interstate. Hotel is not located in the nicest area or convenient to restaurants. Pet friendly.

This hotel is in dire need of renovation. We require a pet friendly room for our two (very clean) indoor only cats. The room we were given had a very strong "wet dog" odor. I went to the desk and requested another room. This one was better but still very old and run down. The rug was disgusting, my shoe actually stuck to the rug in one place. The only chair had a leg missing, which my husband pounded back on so we could sit. Everything was old and dirty. I cannot understand how anyone can give this hotel a good rating. Stay elsewhere!

Absolutely disgusting! Filthy, horrendous smell. Falling apart. So thankful we were only sleeping there a few hours and back on the road. We didn’t even stay for the breakfast and it was free. They actually charged my card twice. They said it will fall off in a few days but I’m not a big fan of them holding $105 of my money.

We enjoyed our stay at Comfort Inn Columbia. It was a great price for 3 nights on Memorial Day weekend. Romonia at the front desk was an absolute pleasure to interact with. She made sure we had everything we needed and checked in with us to make sure everything was okay. There wasn’t really any breakfast provided each morning which I is assume is due to covid-19. The gym and pool were also closed. Overall, it was a good stay and I’d recommend it.

Maybe outside but I am not sure.
We have designated pet rooms and per room 2 pets are allowed
I was told last nite $15 per pet per nite
I believe the Comfort Inns may have separate rooms. Not all rooms have pet preference.
No idea , the costumer service desk should be able to answer thta question.
