I really enjoyed staying at the Meeting Street Inn. My husband and I were in Charleston for business and the Inn was an excellent place to relax. The location is fantastic, staff was wonderful, attentive, and friendly. The rooms were clean. My only suggestion would be to update the chairs in the rooms and the lobby. The lobby decor could... My partner and I stayed here four days ago and had a very nice time. Great staff great breakfast...located in the Historic District. I like the fact they have free teams and many horse drawn carriages They have an elevator which helps when one is tuckered out. Parking is problematic, they normally charge you whether you park next door or... More

If you are looking for new and shiny, this is not your place. if you are looking for the feel of a bed & breakfast, filled with old southern charm. This is your place. We had a queen room tucked into the corner of the 2nd floor. We felt there was no one else there! The room had an extremely... More

One of the best reasons to stay at The Meeting Street Inn is its central location. Other plusses are its charming rooms, the quiet, and the delicious breakfasts in the patio near a gurgling fountain with birds flipping around bathing! The staff was very friendly and professional! I'd stay here again anytime! It made our visit to Charleston memorable!

Great location in historic Charleston; quiet but within walking distance to many restaurants, city market and Battery. Rooms are spacious and have poster beds and very large bath towels. Plenty of hot water and comfy beds. Service very good. Late afternoon wine and cheese reception. Needed TV service and came promptly. Parking 2 blocks. Courtyard great to enjoy breakfast or... More

I was really unhappy with Meeting Street Inn at arrival. The desk clerk was a little surly and we recieved no assistance unloading the car. After I had loaded the luggage dolly a bellman appeared. I declined his assistance, after all the initial heavy lifting was done. Pushing the dolly was no fun, particulary when the ramp to the elevator... More

We are sorry your first impression was less than welcoming and that you did not receive prompt assistance with your luggage. We are a small staff so sometimes the bellmen on duty are assisting other guests and can't be summoned as quickly as needed. We are glad your stay improved after your initial issues and we hope that you will... More

Our stay was generally really positive, especially if you're looking for more a the historic inn vibe. Amenities were meh (size of tv, shower, wireless, hot tub), but they serve a pretty good and free breakfast, the rooms have a certain charm to them, and the location is impossible to beat. Right in the heart of Charleston. A quick note... More

We spent 2 nights there and couldn't have been more pleased. We prefer B&Bs to hotels and although The Inn is larger than most B&Bs but it still has that "feel". The lobby/sitting room is comfortable and nicely decorated...I hate to use "charming" but it works here. This room also serves as the focal point for the complimentary wine and... More

We stayed the past two nights at the Meeting Street Inn. My husband and I were so impressed by their clean comfortable hotel rooms! It was an excellent location-close to down town, but parking available for our car at their sister hotel, The Indigo Inn. We had an amazing free breakfast offered each morning and a cocktail hour (wine and... More
