I don't think you can find a better place in Charleston than the meeting Street Inn. It is an older property but the location in the hospitality is over the top! The room is comfortable. We had a room with two double beds. It eat breakfast outside. Finger is a small dipping pool to relax nearby.
Great location. Within walking distance of so many places. The market. Battery Park. Great restaurants. Loved the four poster beds. The courtyard is so charming. Ate breakfast there each morning. One night we did take out on a charcuterie board and enjoyed it in the courtyard. The pool/hot tub was nice to come back to in the late afternoon the relax before dinner. All staff were so helpful and a great representative of this lovely place. Would stay here again!
Had a great weekend get-a-way with my Husband! Hotel is absolutely beautiful and the service was great! Morgan was such a sweetheart to work with and she made sure we were well taken care of! Thanks so much! We will definitely be back!
After spending the day in Charleston, eating dinner, it was time to relax back at the Meeting Street Inn. We live in Charleston, but like many natives, don't experience what we have right in front of us enough. The Meeting Street Inn staff was very helpful making sure we got a luggage to the room, shuttling us down to our dinner destination, and then making sure we got back to the hotel safely. The hotel itself was just like home, and a restful night was a perfect way to end our weekend. The next morning, coffee and breakfast was waiting for us as we left, heading back over the river to our home in Mt. Pleasant. I would recommend the Meeting Street in (and will recommend) to anyone who will listen!
I have been coming to Charleston since I was a kid. This is my first time staying at The Meeting Street Inn. If you come out, I promise you won’t be disappointed by the cute 19th century style rooms. Nor the beautiful courtyard; perfect for enjoying an elegant breakfast. They are located in the heart of Historic Charleston, a small walk away from whatever you want to see or eat. BUT, I am truly writing this because; if you are lucky enough, you will encounter Eugene and Dan. Dan is kind and insightful about Charleston and Eugene is soulful, kind, genuine, will bend over backwards(basically I can’t say enough amazing things about Eugene). Sorry, I ranted and lost my train of thought. At the most basic level. Stay here, pray you meet Eugene, (and Dan), and try enjoy all that Charleston has to offer. …
