A beautiful hotel. Nicely located near everything. Walking distance to all landmarks. If your coming to Charleston, you would be foolish not to stay at Indigo Inn. Lovely breakfast, wine and cheese and down home southern hospitality. Can't wait to come back.

This inn is perfect to explore charleston from, the rooms are beautiful and the service is very friendly it has a courtyard for relaxing and serves a nice little treat daily in the main building. Its a little pricey but for the location and quality worth it.

Pros: location and super friendly, accommodating staff Cons: noise...motel style in so the rooms face into a common courtyard and people sitting I the courtyard at night were loud. Rooms were dark and seemed outdated... Cleanliness...rooms felt very dirty. Although we saw the cleaning staff the bathrooms had mildew on tiles, toilets were not clean and there were stains on... Visited Charleston with friends for a quick getaway. Once you reach the Indigo and park your car, you can walk anywhere in the historic area. Located near the market, restaurants, museums, carriage tours. We had a great time. The Indigo is a historic building, and is well cared for. Rooms are small but well appointed and arranged(and clean!), breakfast is... More

Most comfortable bed ever. In Charleston for only 1 night. Room was around $200 for 1 night (more than I could afford). Great location walking distance to the things we wanted to do. The wine and cheese was very nice from 5-6:30, wish I had time for more than 1 glass. There was a bag of someone else's trash left... More

We stayed on the second floor near the elevator. We loved our room and the location. They serve an excellent breakfast everyday and wine and cheese each afternoon. The courtyard is lovely place for breakfast and Indigo is within walking distance to historic Charleston. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Would definitely return.

I will definitely return to the Indigo Inn! The owner treats you like family. There is wine and cheese from 5-7 each evening and complimentary breakfast each morning. The location is perfect! You are right in the heart of downtown Charleston within a very short walking distance of the Straw Market, amazing restaurants and shopping. Love this place!

We have stayed here numerous times in the past three years and have not been disappointed. The rooms are updated and the bathrooms are modern and spacious. The central location to the historic district makes walking easy. We also enjoy the delicious daily breakfast. Its offerings satisfy every taste and diet! But the best is the relaxing atmosphere at the... More

I cannot say enough great things about this hotel! Everyone went above and beyond to make sure our stay was spectacular. Breakfast was great , something different everyday ( the quiche was my favorite). Wine and cheese in the afternoon, the pimento cheese was delicious. I will definitely be staying here again.
