Recently stayed at the Comfort Inn while traveling to Charleston for a funeral. I have to say that the hotel was in much better shape than I expected. You can tell that they recently renovated. The rooms were clean and modern. The only thing I would complain about would be the parking. It is extremely limited and unless you are...

Tough to rate this hotel with renovations underway. My renovated room was good and the staff friendly. The lobby is completely ripped up right now. The room was clean with refrig, microwave, flat screen TV, etc. Free breakfast and WiFi. Access to the main highway in and out of the old Charleston are is very convenient to this hotel. There...

The location isn't great as it's located on the edge of town where the hospitals are and this means it's a good brisk 20 minute walk at least to get into town. The staff are all very helpful and friendly but it is need of some updating unless you like a fairly weird 1950s or 70s drab style? The lobby...

Very shabby hotel, had notices saying there was refurbishment going on but could see no sign of it at all. Advertised as downtown but absolutely not walkable to sights of charleston. Carpets pretty dingy and the whole place was grubby and third rate tho have to saythe beds were very comfortable. Reception on checking in could hardly be bothered with...

We were sent here from The VA hospital to stay for 2 days because of surgery. This place is not even a 1 star its horrible. The lobby, curtains and furniture was filthy and the floor wasn't much better. When we tried to complain to corporate we reached a call center in the Philippines. The representative conveniently claimed she couldn't...

The location is good and reasonably close to The Citadel where we went for a reunion and football game. That's the good. This is a tired, older property with small rooms. It could be cleaner. They advertise they are remodeling, which is sorely needed. Breakfast is provided but I would recommend walking to Burger King next door and just pay...

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Liked that they had snacks and drinks for sale in the lobby. Located near the MUSC campus, directly across from the Veteran's clinic and a couple of blocks from the Ashley River Tower clinic, which is why we were there. The only downside is the parking is limited. I would recommend to anyone visiting...

I have to be honest and say this Comfort suites really needs to kick it up . I understand it being older on the outside however , we sure felt cramped in the room, and the high window did not help. Breakfast was good. When I come back to Charleston again , I am going to check out the Embassy...

The room needs some new furniture and the seating at the booths in the breakfast area !really also in bad shape. The vinyl is tearing off chairs and benches. The desk clerks are friendly and very helpful. Close to all hospitals
