This BNB was very charming and inviting. My wife and would recommend that you stay here if you are looking for a nice getaway within driving distance from certain south-eastern cities. And by the way, the breakfast is delightful along with the staff. About Location, The location is a bit further away from downtown Charleston, parking is a little tight... More

We enjoyed our stay, the breakfasts on the patio with other guests, using their bikes to get around. We especially appreciated their generosity in not charging us for the 3 nights we had reserved since our airline delayed our flight so much we stayed for only 2 nights, which is all they charged us for. We were on the third... More

We were on the third floor suite with a full kitchen,four-poster bed, two TVs, comfy wing-back chairs, and everything you could want. The breakfasts were delicious and different every morning. Lynn is a great cook! All employees were friendly and helpful. One morning the owner, Barry, regaled us with tales of the Inn's history, as well as local stories. The... More

A very comfortable, clean and well furnished B&B in Charleston. But the breakfasts are divine, full or made to order for you taste on a well ventilated outdoor porch. You'll need a car if you want to get anywhere close to the downtown or other attractions. The staff is incredibly friendly (I felt like family right away) and were full... More

The Inn is a beautiful building set on a quiet street just blocks from the main sights and tastings of the town center. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We received a southern welcome each morning with a different delicious breakfast. There were light snacks and wine in the afternoon and iced tea and water in the kitchenette all day... More

First of all, I must tell you that after reading one rating I was very worried, but my worries were put to rest after walking into the Cannonboro inn. Yes, parking is tight, but if you have a smaller vehicle it is no problem and it is better to back in. We stayed in room four which is large with... More

We enjoyed the hospitality of this inn. We were met by a friendly, helpful innkeeper who did a lovely job of settling us in and giving us tips about the local area. The Inn provided late afternoon drinks and nibbles which enabled us to meet and chat with some of the other guests. The inn itself is quite historic -... More

Three of us, 'Nurse Poets,' stayed in the guest house for two nights. We were in town to speak at the MUSC nursing school and perform at the Spoleto Piccolo poetry festival. The Cannonboro Inn was a great place to unwind, come back to and rest. When it came time to leave the staff were super helpful and friendly letting... More

Loved the Cannonboro Inn. Close to the central historic area so you could walk (35 minutes to catch the free trolley) and far enough away from the action to be quiet. Our room had the southern charm we hoped for and a very comfortable bed. Yummy breakfast and knowledgeable staff helped make our short 2 day sojourn the adventure we... More

Lovely rooms with comfortable beds and a very pleasant staff. The porches are a great place to eat breakfast or to visit with friends. There is wine and well done snacks at 5:00 pm. the off-street parking is tight but it works. If you like to walk to events or to restaurants, it is a bit of a hike.
