Definitely consider 22 Charlotte if you're looking for a B&B in Charleston. I love B&Bs for their personal touches and the opportunity to socialize with new people. Most hotel rooms, even at the nice hotels, feel a bit sterile. 22 Charlotte is definitely one of the better B&Bs

I could have talked to you and your wonderful husband all day - as journalists, you are such smart people, full of keen insights, and I appreciated your kindness to the other guests, always pulling them into the conversation so no one at the breakfast table was left out, even the shy folks. The world needs more people like you. - Cordially, Vaughan

On top of being a brilliant man, you are so sweet, Ken. As a retired Rolls Royce jet engine engineer, you were the perfect guest to educate us all on the dynamics of jet engines and plane crashes, a topic in the news right now. You and your precious bride were a fantastic guests! - Cordially, Vaughan
