I have been meaning to write this for months... so here goes! My husband and I staying in March at Lavender and Lace Bed and Breakfast for four nights. The Inn is in a great, central location convenient for walking to many area highlights. Where you couldn't walk, the public transportation was easy to take! Judy was awesome and so... More

Whenever I visit Charleston, South Carolina, I always stay at Lavender and Lace, where I feel at home, tucked into the tony South of Broad neighbourhood. The hospitality is without compare....Thanks to the owner, Judy Brown. If you want to taste 'old Charleston' stay at Lavender and Lace on Tradd Street, within walking distance of shops, restaurants and museums...WONDERFUL!

For our girls weekend, we could not have chosen a more lovely place to stay than Lavender and Lace. From the beginning, Judy was hospitable, kind, and gracious. Her recommendations for sites to visit, places to dine, and tips for making the most out of our vacation was spot on. We stayed in the Cottage House which was adorable, spacious,... More

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay in the back Garden Room. The location was perfect - a short walk to the trolley route and close to the waterfront. We were warmly welcomed by Judy and enjoyed the delicious homemade food which appeared each day. It was great to be independent and eat when we wanted to. The room was... More

This is not the normal B and B experience because you are on your own so be certain that you are comfortable with that . We found it to be perfect for us as we were 10 days into our road trip when we arrived and fed up of eating out every night so Lavender and Lace provided the perfect... More

Firstly, we stayed in the carriage hour, which was really cute. The balcony on the second floor was a perfect spot to have our morning coffee! The upstairs bed was comfy, as was the sofa bed downstairs. The shower was nice too, the water was nice and hot (even for 3 people to shower) and the pressure was decent. The location... More

This B&B is located on Tradd street in a very quiet, historic area. The B&B owner Judy was incredibly helpful and spent over an hour with us after we settled in telling us about attractions and restaurants. All of our questions were answered with lots of great suggestions of what to do and what to miss. The location is perfect... More

Great location for downtown Charleston by foot. We stayed in carriage house and it was as good as it gets. Just is so generous with home cooked treats - we could not eat all that was provided. It was lovely to cook for ourselves on 1 of our 4 nights in the fully equipped kitchen. Washing machine and drier were... More
