We enjoyed our stay at French Quarter Inn. We checked in around noon and enjoyed our welcome champagne. Our room facing the Market place was very beautiful. The property is very well kept. We were pleasantly surprised to have a quality continental breakfast, afternoon cheese and wine, and evening cookies . The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back!
The hotel deserves a review! While the hotel is beautiful, the amenities and service put this hotel above all others! Everyone we came into contact with were lovely, but a specific thank you to Josh snd Jenny for showing what southern hospitality truly is! Our suite was beyond comfortable and then the welcome champagne, daily snacks, amazing breakfast, wine and cheese cocktail hour snd the nightly cookies with milk snd sherry put our stay over the top - oh and the nightly chocolate and turn down service were amazing. Everything is done with a smile. We’ve stayed all over the world and no one made us feel so much at home. Looking forward to our next visit!
My husband and i spent an extended weekend at this hotel. we flew in form NY to do Charleston half marathon. THis hotel exceeded our expectations. friends recommended this hotel and after reading trip advisor reviews booked our stay. beautiful hotel, location is excellent. Front desk so helpful especially Kim kent. gave us restaurant suggestions and directions to most places. the hotel is very clean. What makes this hotel standout is the details : breakfast which is bountiful : eggs, yogurt, oatmeal, breads, muffins, scones, Also the happy hour including free wine and cheese. At night delicious homemade cookies and milk. THere is also containers of candy ie M & M, jelly beans, skittles and of course fresh fruit at all times. everyone so friendly . I cant recommend this hotel enough.…
Outside of luxury resorts this is both my wife and I favorite hotel. All the staff were very helpful and alert. We got complimentary breakfast with eggs, pastries, yogurt juice and coffee every morning and topped off every evening with milk and cookies and port wine. The also had wine and cheese every night included! The location is perfect! We walked to almost every restaurant and historical site that we wanted to tour. I would definitely stay again.
This hotel is exquisite! I am still here, but my experience as been so amazing, I could not wait to write my review. Today is my boyfriend’s birthday and they could not have made him feel more special (he is 48 years young) and I didn’t need to lift a finger. In room breakfast, a happy birthday balloon and a cake. Their attention to details are off the charts. I travel a lot and this experience has been first class. I must mention the hotel is beautiful and in an amazing location. In addition to that- I sprang my ankle and the manager brought up some ice and helped me plan the surprise- he’s definitely an expert at going the extra mile. This experience is worth the cost. If you want to feel special, I highly recommend you stay here. I will definitely be back! A huge “thank you” to The French Quarters team who knocked it out of the park. More than satisfied!…
This is an amazing boutique hotel! We arrived for a one day business trip and were greeted at the front desk by Seryna with a glass of champagne. Seryna also shared the many wonderful extras included while staying at the French Quarter Inn such as the wine and cheese happy hour and delicious milk and cookies before bed. The rooms are beautiful and there are so many special touches, I can’t name them all! I will definitely be back for work and pleasure!
There are many nice hotels in Historic Charleston. Our recommendation is not to miss this one. This hotel is beautiful, luxurious, clean and friendly. But it’s not stuffy. The rooms are gorgeous, we had a fireplace in our sitting room off the bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom so beautiful and clean! Ok, so the warm cookies and cold milk every night at 8:30 don’t hurt either. Don’t forget at 5:30 each evening the wine service and delicious cheeses and crackers and salmi and… I could go on and on. Do yourself a favor and book here. You will love it!
My husband, two teen daughters, and I stayed here for three nights after Christmas. I can recommend this hotel without hesitation. Pros: Delicious coffee, really nice breakfast with gluten-free options - oatmeal, yogurt, eggs, fruit plus pastries Enjoyed the happy hour wine and cheese Staff was very helpful, even provided thermometer for my daughter who wasn’t feeling well at checkout Room very clean and housekeeping, and turn down service were efficient Bathroom included nice toiletries Comfortable bedding and towels The first floor location was very convenient to the lobby and would recommend that Beautiful Christmas tree in the lobby Central location was walkable to everything we needed, we did not need the car or Uber the entire time we were there Street noise was minimal, despite being in floor 1 Cons: Could hear the lobby music in our room, very faintly, which kept me up one night, but I’m a light sleeper We booked the least expensive quad room, which had 2 queens, but it was much smaller than the online picture of this room with one side of one of the beds against the wall When we had later breakfast (9-ish), it seemed the staff struggle to keep food supplied and clean dishes and flatware available due to the crowd…
This was the third time to stay at the French Quarter Inn, but our first Christmas. As it was the first two stays, the Inn & the staff were outstanding making you feel at home during a cold Christmas in Charleston. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like special guests. All of the staff were friendly & attentive particularly Kim & Jenny. The breakfast & cocktails were great. The Inn had a Christmas carol quartet for Christmas Eve & Christmas cocktail hours & they were delightful. Everything great for Christmas.
This was a trip to celebrate my daughter's college graduation. From the moment we arrived at the French Quarter Inn we were treated fabulous. We were greeted immediately by the Valet/Bellhop who helped us with our luggage. There was a breathtaking Christmas tree decorating the foyer. The upstairs lobby was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The front desk staff were welcoming and made us feel right at home. Our room was immaculate, comfortable and quiet. The beds were luxurious and comfortable. Jasmine did a wonderful job maintaining our room throughout our stay. The turn down service, which included weather updates and fresh ice was very much appreciated. Although we didn't eat much from the breakfast service, there was a very nice offering and the coffee was perfect. My daughter really enjoyed the hot cookies and milk served every evening. I would highly recommend this property, as it is centrally located and the attention to detail was delightful.…
