This was the perfect choice for our 4 days stay in Charleston. Great location, great service, very comfortable room (we were in 302). We shall certainly come back to this hotel on our next trip to the charming town of Charleston.

My husband and I spent a few days at the French Quarter Inn for our 23rd anniversary. Because taking a trip just by ourselves is an extremely rare event for us, we put a lot of research into choosing a hotel. This hotel has many accolades and glowing reviews, so we picked it, hoping it was all true. It was. All of it. If you, fellow traveler, are looking for an amazing hotel experience.....you have found it. The location is spot on perfect: one direction out the door is a quick walk to the King Steet shopping paradise. Another direction is a quick walk to the waterfront park area. And the City Market is located right at the end of the block. We didn't need our car for anything, which is the hallmark of an awesome location. :) The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, clean, and staffed with some of the kindest, most genuinely helpful people we have ever met. If you have a question, they will help you. Need suggestions for lunch or help making reservations? They'll get you squared away. Need to borrow an umbrella because you forgot yours? They've got you covered. And the best part? They do all of this with an effortless ease that makes you feel welcomed and at home. What I loved most was the many amenities that they didn't necessarily call out on their website: friendly valet to greet you and help you get your car unloaded, champagne to welcome you at check in, daily wine & charcuterie, nightime cookies, nightly turndown service, breakfast delivered to your room (!!), and an overall friendliness and attention to detail that makes you feel like YOU are their most important guest. Ever. In the history of time. If you look up Hospitality, there really should be a picture of the French Quarter Inn. They've made repeat guests of us as we will most certainly be planning another trip there soon.

Spoiled! Champagne and sparkling juice at check-in. Breakfast in bed (a delicious one at that). Wine with cheese plates in the afternoon. Warm cookies with milk in the evening. Relaxing pillow spray. Nighttime chocolates. Fantastic!!!!! Perfect location too! Aside from dinner across the river, we were able to walk everywhere we went.
