Stayed at this Hotel 4 nights. Very good choice, centrally located to the Historic District by foot. Able to walk almost anywhere. Plenty of bars and eateries. Hotel was clean, quite and the staff were great. I would have certainly given it a higher rating, but for the parking conditions. Not terrible, but limited spaces and tight. I would highly recommend this to others who don't mind walking a little bit. I will definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for three nights, and despite the fact it's not right in the middle of the Historic District, this hotel was fantastic. Great personal service from every associate we passed by or talked with. The room was clean and spacious. We would definitely stay here again without question!

Stayed three nights at the end of June. Had a two queen bed room and it was very large and accommodated my family of four (two teenage boys). Hotel is about 5 blocks from Fort Sumter and within walking distance to City Market and all the restaurants on Meeting Street. We walked everywhere! There are also restaurants and shops within a couple of blocks from hotel thru Marion Park. There is a small outdoor pool that was great to take a quick dip in after walking in the June heat. It was just the right size. Lobby had water and cookies every afternoon, nice business center and library type room with TV right off of the lobby. Overall a great stay.

We stayed 2 nights here and had an enjoyable stay. The hotel was clean, updated and spacious. We stayed in a suite on the 6th floor facing Calhoun street. I was worried about the street noise as I had read in reviews, and am happy to say we had no problems with noise. We enjoyed our balcony and the extra space of the suite. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we would stay again while in Charleston!

This is a great hotel located near historic attractions in Charleston. Not far from aquarium in Charleston and the Fort Sumter tour. Overall I think the hotel was nice. We had a suite which was a nice size. It had a dining room table and a balcony which I enjoyed sitting on. One thing about this hotel is that since it is older the elevators were slower. Its just something to note but I understand why. Overall good stay nice hotel located in historic Charleston.
