This is a great place to stay in Charleston! The hotel is very nice and in a good location, but the very best reason to stay here is the amazing chief concierge, Kevin McQuade! He is by far the best, most helpful, most enthusiastic concierge we've ever met! This was our first visit to Charleston and, thanks to Kevin, my... More

To start, it's a good property. Easy to find and easy to walk downtown to restaurants, shops and attractions. Lovely outdoor pool, bistro and good service. But ask for a room away from the elevator! We didn't realize College of Charleston was coming back this weekend so the hotel was overrun with college students and their parents waiting to move... More

We were in Charleston for a wedding, shocking I know.. The holy cities lives up to it's name and there were seven things that made this trip amazing. 1. The Courtyard Marriott is centrally located, updated, clean and truly a fantastic place to rest your head, have a quick swim to cool off or just lunge around and have a... More

The hotel is very easy to find using GPS. The rooms are spacious and modern. We went to an event at the Gaillard Center, and this hotel is only one block away, so a great choice. Lots of breakfast choices (not included--paid separately) at the in-house cafe. Quick walk to to many other restaurants. You don't have to get a... More

Good place to stay and safe. There is security at hotel and the staff is very friendly. The drinks are great also with good prices!!! Room decent and this is a historic district, buildings are a little out dated which is what you expect. It's about 10 blocks to the market.

I came here for a week for a work conference. The breakfasts and lunches were catered. I've gone to many conferences and seen many caterings. I have NEVER experienced anything like the food they provided! It was fresh, uniquely South Carolinian, and incredibly delicious. It was so hard to not to eat everything! On top of all that, the team... More

Kevin McQuade, Chief Concierge at the Courtyard. This is a name you must remember when staying at this Marriott Hotel. Kevin McQuade. When checking into this property, we didn't have a lot of time to see Charleston, so checked with Kevin and he suggested he did private night tours of the real Charleston. What a revelation. Kevin took us down... More

I have hosted several meetings here and they do a great job. The team is very customer-centric and accommodating. The location is perfect - very close to the center of town and the front porch is wonderful to sit on with their rocking chairs. I highly recommend this hotel!!

Convenient location and nice enough lobby. Staff at front desk was great throughout the stay and the Concierge was outstanding. Especially Kevin M. who took a lot of time to plan our trip and almost all of our meals...all of which were perfect recommendations.
