We try to stay here whenever we come to Charleston. Beautiful, historic hotel that has been renovated, in the heart of the historic district. Walk to everything! Very clean and the staff was friendly and professional.

I did not like the shower curtains. Water went all over the floor . Shower curtain was too short. This hotel need all new towles. They were worn out like something from a cheep hotels... The mills house can do better. The resturant at the hotel had the best breakfast every. I hosted a party of 12 And your employee...

We had a lovely room , very good service, wonderful breakfast, and convenient parking behind hotel. Located walking distance from all major tourist spots in Charleston. The Bar and Breakfast area was great and our waiter , Archie, was the best!!!

As two widows spending a short time in Charleston we could have not picked a better place to stay. Great price for in town hotel. Easy parking in attached garage. Easy walking to market area. Lovely courtyard for drinks. Too short of time, but such a nice place.

The location of this hotel is great. However, everything else is just okay. Our wifi signal was not reliable throughout the stay. The cleaning service put in a half effort. The fool was filthy with trash and particles. The champagne happy hour was a nice touch but the champagne was warm and not chilled.

This is a terrific hotel. The Hotel restaurant is top notch. We went all around Charleston trying all the recommended foodie restaurants and the last night opted to eat at the hotel. We both said we should have eaten there every night! So delicious! We will definitely come back.

We recently stayed at The Mills House in Charleston. The location was wonderful. Hotel staff we encountered were wonderful. The only negative was the need to utilize the valet parking at $29 per night. The location was ideal to walk throughout historic Charleston. We never used our car during our stay, walking to our carriage tour, ghost tour, and dining...
