We were on a group tour and Charleston was our last stop. We got to our room and as I always do I check the linens. I noticed on one of the pillows several strands of long brown hair. I was totally disgusted. I immediately called but no one answered to any of the numbers on the phone. I went to front desk and told the gal at front desk what I encountered. She apologized and I told her to have all the bedding changed. This was done. But each day after room was made I checked. Also the sheets in bed are very thin and worn! The towels are very rough as well. I would not stay here again this has been reported to the Tour Company we were with.
The hotel is beautiful and in an amazing location. The hotel staff outside of food and beverage was perfect, don’t expect good or friendly service at the bar, also plan to spend most of your time waiting for a drink rather than actually drinking it.
The common area’s were beautiful but the room was horrible. Extremely outdated, rusty bathroom appliances, moldy walls and wallpaper, broken furniture and really small room. I will not stay here again nor would I recommend it to anyone. There are several other hotels and Airbnb‘s in the area that are much nicer.
Very cozy and relaxing stay with polite service. Hotel.location is very accommodating to downtown highlights and restaurants. The shops were easy to walk to and safe surroundings. Recommended for a special couples getaway
The ambiance, the location and the southern style added to the allure of our travels. This location was the center of all a walkabout from local landmarks to delicious restaurants to tours and shopping extravaganza‘s!
