This is a very nice hotel in the heart of Charleston and is within walking distance to The Market and many shops on King street. The staff is very friendly, polite and helpful. This place is more expensive and does not offer free breakfast, parking, or internet and the rooms are a tad small. It was extremely hot when we... More

This is a very nice hotel. Loved our room, the bed was comfortable and fresh. The room was spotless and the housekeeping staff friendly. Miss Tamiko at the front desk so nice. The doormen are just superb, and knowledgeable. Location is perfect and can walk to many wonderful areas. Would come back to stay in a heartbeat. The hotel bar... More

Beautiful hotel walking distance to everything. It was close to shopping, restaurants, and activities. The staff was amazing!! It was very hot on our recent visit, they had a huge tub of ice filled with water bottles right at the door of the hotel. Every time you entered or left hotel they encouraged you to take water and stay hydrated.... More

Had an excellent stay. Staff wonderful, room great. Spotless and geared for the hot weather. Pail filled with ice and bottles of water that little extra step. They are willing to help you with any of your needs with a smile, and they are in the middle of it all.

When I first checked in, I was given a room on the second floor with a view of the alley and building behind us, and worst part, at roof level, right outside my window. Indeed anyone could've stood outside my window and peeped or opened my window. I expressed concern for my safety and was told they were sold out... More

Thank you very much for staying with us and for taking the time to offer your feedback. I'm glad that the team was able to find a room for you that better met your needs and apologize that it took a couple of calls to the desk for the move to be completed. Our family extended our vacation through Charleston and spent one night at this hotel. I had stayed here previously with just my husband a year ago around September and the experience this time around was a total let down in comparison to that visit. We had two rooms both with a terrace. The rooms and common areas were very "tired"... More

Excellent in every way. Stayed there three times in the past few years and have never had anything to complain about. Great location, clean, friendly and a roof-top pool! Great hotel bar and hotel greeters are top notch!

I stayed here a few weeks ago and although the hotel is in a good location, it is NOT worth it. The checkin process was a nightmare, the front desk staff is extremely slow and not helpful. The wifi that I paid for was messed up and never worked properly and instead of the staff helping with it they told... More

As a Marriott Rewards member I am very disappointed in this hotel. I am from NY so maybe I am used to a more fast paced environment but everything about this place is just slow. From the Valet to the Check-in, it was like watching paint dry. It make things worse I was put in probably the worst room ever,... More
