Wife and I stayed at the Emeline for 3 nights and had an excellent time. The hotel is trendy and very visually appealing. The courtyard is nice to just chill or grab a drink. Didn't eat at Frannie and the Fox since it was fully booked but heard good things. Clerks had great coffee (if you're staying there you get your morning coffee for free). What we really appreciated was the complimentary mini-cooper rental (need to book in advance). We took these out for 2 days and were able to hit Middleton Place, Magnolia Plantation, Rodney Scotts, and Leons all on our own without tours or Ubers. And it's totally free! Definitely a great service. Lastly, the location couldn't be better. Right next to the market and totally walkable to everything. Excellent spot for a home base, couldn't be any better. Nothing was more than a 10 minute (and very pleasant) walk away. Hotel was pricey, but in own opinion worth it. Highly recommended.

Hotel's Favorite
Everything during our stay at Emeline was absolutely beautiful. Not only was the decor and aesthetic perfect, but everyone we came in contact with was so friendly and welcoming. Kevin was awesome and even sent us home with some goodies for the road trip back to Charlotte. The restaurant (Frannie and the Fox) is always one of our highlights when visiting- highly recommend the Negroni and tomato toast 🙂 They have kept the small details in mind when curating the hotel. Things like the water bottles in the gym for after a sweaty Peloton ride, the water stations for easy refills on every floor, free room service coffee and cute bike rentals to scoot around town on really make your stay extra special. Can’t wait to come back!

The rooms: After spending $800 for a suite, I wasn't expecting to find multiple small black hairs all over the shower. Gross.. The room would be fine for $250-350, but doesn't measure up for the price. Also super awkward, because you have to walk through the bathroom to go between the living room and bedroom, and leaves you stuck in one room if someone needs to use it. I splurged for a romantic weekend, and truly regret spending so much money on what ended up to be such a mediocre room. Lobby and service: hotel common areas are all gorgeous, and the hotel staff -- from the valet to the folks at the desk -- are all excellent and friendly. It's a great location and easy to walk everywhere. If you can get a deal for a smaller room, or aren't price sensitive, then go for it. Otherwise, I'd visit and have drinks in the lovely outdoor space, and find a place with nicer rooms. Restaurants: We had a great experience ordering small bites and coffee at Clerk's. We tried to go to Fanny and the Fox a couple times and each time we interacted with their staff, we were very put off by their attitude -- so much so that my easy going husband didn't want to eat there. Overall -- great staff and common areas inside and out. The rooms are average and overpriced, our room was not clean and awkward. I regret staying here.

My husband and I were blown away by the front desk service, included bike and car rentals, and excellent food and drink in-house. Also, the location is spot on in the heart of the historic district. It’s the place to stay! Enjoy—

We stayed for four nights for our honeymoon and truly enjoyed our stay. Phenomenal staff! Great location! Beautiful hotel! Terrence, Kevin, and Emmett were stand out staff! They made our stay enjoyable and smooth from valet, check-in to housekeeping! The wait staff and bartenders at Frankie and Fox were also great! Our room was so clean and cute, my husband loved the record player! We also enjoyed the sitting area on the 2nd floor in the mornings for coffee and the courtyard for afternoon or evening drinks! The valet team was so pleasant, fast, and professional, might I add in 90+ degree heat! Kevin really gave 5 star service! Helping us with dinner reservations, maps and ideas for places to check out during our stay!
