We enjoyed our first visit to the campground and so pleased to have been able to enjoy the holiday light display. The staff at the campground are top notch..went out of their way to accommodate our short notice reservation. There is also an overflow area if no sites available! The RV sites aren't very private but access to town is...

We had such a good time here. We were able to see all of the lights and walk from the campground to Christmas area. Sites are large and private. Picnic tables and fire rings. Family oriented. We had a great time. Will return...

Took a limo from Kiawah Island to see lights. We loved it. Hadn't been in a few years. The variety and quality of displays are excellent. It was raining so the view was a little fuzzy through the glass. Well worth taking the kids...but adults will enjoy it also.

Every year the display is more amazing! The lights and Christmas music are so beautiful! Fun for all ages. Park in Lot A and walk to see the tree lights dancing to music and to check out the shops. S'mores kits are available for purchase. A great family outing.

James Island County Park is my favorite campground in Charleston. I booked a cabin and a campsite so most of my family could go as well to enjoy the Christmas lights. My kids and grandkids enjoyed the cabin while my husband and I stayed in our camper at a campsite. We all love the Holiday Light Show (2nd time going...

the dog park was very unkept! Dogs do-do all over the spacious fenced yard. There were plenty of baggies for owners to pick poo up and seems a lot of irresponsible dog owners don't use the baggies. We loved the campground other than that. Bath houses were always very clean and nice. The Festival of Lights were very enjoyable but...

We came for the Holiday Light Show and loved that too. Campground was nice, sites were spacious, and clean. Bathhouse was clean. Staff at Office nice and helpful. Great area to camp if you are going to Folly Beach. Loved riding around bikes around the park. One of the Best Dog parks we have ever seen. Near the lake and...

Very nice campground, It was clean and quiet. Bathhouses and laundry were also clean. Cute little store. Enjoyed driving by the pond an enjoyed the dogs romping in the pond. They were setting up for their festival of Christmas lights when we were there.

We have been travelling the eastern coast of the US and booking each spot a week out as we go. So looking online for something near Charleston, James Island came up. It had great reviews and so we called. At first they said they did not have any space but then the wonderful woman I spoke with said that if...

Loved this campground because there were plenty of hiking and biking trails. They have a great dog park, on an island with sand beaches so our furry friends can go swimming. Sites are wooded, but close to one another. WiFi was weak. They were setting up for Festival of Lights, would love to come back to see it.
