Visiting Charleston for a belated 25th wedding anniversary trip, we stayed at Zero Water Street for three nights. From this location we not only walked to the downtown area, we walked to upper King and explored the newer restaurant scene up there. There’s not much I could add that hasn’t already been said. I’d point out that staying here we... More

Had a wonderful visit here. You have the entire third floor to yourself. This includes a kitchen, bedroom, bath, living room and an office area. Lovely! I really appreciated the homemade breads, yogurts, coffee, fruits. Fresh every day. The views from this place are phenomenal! Close to historic downtown restaurants. Just perfection. I almost forgot to mention the porch with... More

Best B & B experience we have ever had. We have stayed here twice and its just fantastic. My wife especially enjoyed watching dolphins in the harbor from the veranda. Staying here was a wonderful treat. Its not cheap but for what you get and the location and the view its a bargain. Also has off street parking which is... More

My wife and I stayed for two nights at Zero Water St. Location was great for walking through the south of broad neighborhood and access to the downtown restaurants and bars. The apartment is on the third floor and includes a covered porch with fantastic views out over the water. Perfect if combined with a few gin and tonics. I... More

From our arrival to our departure, the service was exquisite. Incredible accomodations with a phenomenal view of the water. The 3rd floor suite had a kitchen, sitting room, bedroom, full bathroom and living room. Hosts could not have been more welcoming. Would definitely return.

Perfect location and a short walk to everything basically. You have the whole top floor and there is so much space it feels really luxurious. The view over the water is spectacular, and I found myself staring for long periods obsessively looking for dolphins (which I did actually see a few times). The breakfast is continental but great with lots... More

What can I add to all the other positive reviews? Maybe that it would have been enough for our 25th wedding anniversary celebration to have spent all of our time at Zero Water Street! It's a lot about location, location, location (and Southern hospitality). The view from the bay end of the sitting area and the porch, both looking directly... More

My husband and I had high expectations for our 10 anniversary and Zero Water Street exceeded those expectations hands down. Between the view (what a view!), the privacy and the warm southern hospitality of Cordes and Jim it was the perfect "home base" while we explored Charleston for the first time. The location was spectacular and made us feel so... More

We are big fans of Charleston, the sights, the sounds, the buzz, the history, and the restaurants. ZWS is our favorite B&B for that "special" occasion. Only one guest at a time, you enjoy the entire 3rd floor of this historic home. The porch runs the entire length of the home, front to back so you have areas for dining,... More

Perfect in every way. Not only is this a beautiful historical residence and idyllically situated (right on East Bay overlooking Fort Sumter) but it is beautifully decorated as well. You will have an entire floor to yourself including a kitchen. The porch though is unrivalled. A must for enjoying breakfast, a glass of wine or simply for watching tourists. Our... More
