This is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever experienced. Art surrounds you and luxury abounds. We were actually torn between touring the city and spending time enjoying the hotel. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Historic location near waterfront park. Highly recommended.

What a great way to bring in the New Year! We stayed there for 5 nights and loved the atmosphere, the lovely art, the attentive and kind staff and the location. Just a block to Battery Park and a few blocks to the Market area. Great location, comfort and Southern hospitality! Loved our stay. Room was a little small, but...

We stay for a few days at The Vendue on our journey south yearly. We really look forward to the well appointed rooms in a historic central location. Plus, the staff is first class. The restaurant was a treat. It just happened to be Charleston's restaurant week and the chef went all out. We did the art tour of the...

This is a beautiful hotel for all ages. Our rooms had nice views, small bathroom, comfy bed. Not sure ours' was worth the upgraded price. Artwork throughout hotel was stunning, and for all tastes. Breakfast was so good we couldn't go elsewhere. The server a freckled young man was very cool under pressure, and as nice as could be. One...

We spend 3 nights at the Vendue on a cold wintry weekend in JAN, and it was perfect. The service was impeccable, the room was small but cozy and comfy with one wall of brick, and the decor of the hotel is very unique. It's an art gallery in and of itself. It even has a publicly accessible space for...

We did some research in advance when we tried to find the perfect hotel in charleston. The Vendue got our attention from the beginning and the choice was right! Without breakfast the room was about 220.-/night. We were located in the building across the street which is a little more quiet. The hotel restaurant looks absolutely fabulous with lots of...

Upon arrival the valet took care of our bags and parked our car. Customer service was great and the rooms were lovely. Within walking distance of everything we cared to see. The only complaint I did have was having a room without a window! Felt a bit closed in! Would definitely go back!

This hotel is absolutely amazing! I cannot give a better description, the service, location, and staff will not disappoint! The option for pets is also a huge plus and the breakfast shop located within the building was a plus!

The hotel is charming, extremely quaint and cozy, we liked the fact that it has an art gallery with wine and mingling in the afternoon, also liked having Starbucks inside and free coffee for guests in the morning.
