Underwhelming experience at the Inn. The pictures on the website look much better than the actual inn. The rooms have no carpet so heard a lot from room above me. The courtyard is sorry looking. The continental breakfast was sad...fruit salad was Dole fruit in plastic cups.

I had the pleasure of being a guest at this fine inn while my husband and I were traveling the southern coast from Pennsylvania. This was our first visit to Charleston. The inn was a perfect place to stay. It was within walking distance to all of the downtown attractions. The

Wow! We are truly impressed by your kind words. We are so delighted that you chose to stay with us. We are located right in the middle of Charleston's Historic District. Charleston has so many renowned restaurants, and our locations provides you with a great starting point for many of those locations. Neal is a wealth of information, and we are fortunate to have him as a member of our team. Boiled peanuts are the official "snack" of South Carolina, so we are happy to see that you enjoyed them. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Inn the next time you are in Charleston!

Stayed here for a few nights and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a hotel centrally located to everything in downtown Charleston. I did read reviews beforehand about it being noisy so was not surprised when we were woken up by dumpsters being emptied around 5:30am

Thank you for your honest feedback on staying with us! While some folks are heavier sleepers than others, you are right - if you sleep lighter, pay the extra monies for a courtyard room that is located in the back! I'm glad you enjoyed having breakfast delivered and our evening reception - we hope that next time you are visiting Charleston, that you will keep us in mind. We would love to have you back again!

Next time you visit, make sure to book a Courtyard Guest Room instead of the Traditional Guest Rooms located on the street. While they cost a bit more, if you are a light sleeper, we recommend you paying the additional monies for the rooms in the courtyard. We hope that you'll give us another try while visiting Charleston.

Located on Queen between Meeting and King, this location is superb. Easy walk to old homes, the battery, and many great restaurants. Our room was very large, clean, and comfortable. Large closet, but the bathroom was tiny. The bathroom was very clean and all fixtures in

Are there coffeemakers in the rooms?
Ditto to above response. Lovely sitting out in the courtyard having breakfast, coffee and tea.

Are the renovation of guestrooms completed or is there on-going construction?
While I was there they did not have any construction underway. That was a few months ago, however. Perhaps contacting them directly would answer that question. I did enjoy my stay while I was there. Be sure to try 82 Queen next door if you go!
