Elliott House is quaint and comfortable, right in the French Quarter. Walking distance to everything in historic Charleston. The staff is flexible, friendly and accommodating. They will do everything they can to help. Some rooms are small; adequate, but no sitting area. If this matters to you, call the hotel for more specifics about room sizes. This is not a giant resort-type hotel with a restaurant / bar / pool / gym. Rather, it is walking distance to dozens of places. Negative comments about COVID are inaccurate; self serve breakfast is still offered, with coffee and water available until early afternoon. In the winter, there was no wine and cheese reception.

The Staff alone deserves 6 stars. Larry and Jeremy were always smiling, ready to help! Need the fire started? Just ask. Need a recommendation for dinner plans? Just ask! The room was adorable and the location is between the two best restaurants in Charleston! We got the queen bed room which was spacious enough, although we spent most of our time out and about! We loved the fire and patio for a late night glass of wine! I will be coming back, and I’m elated to have found such a gem!

This was once our favorite Charleston hotel, and it's been 2 years since we stayed here, but their reaction to COVID is extreme. We understand that COVID has changed travel, but 2 years into the pandemic and with vaccines and much more known about the virus, they need to modify practices. All the booking websites indicate that they provide breakfast and an afternoon wine and cheese reception. Neither were provided and spending time in the courtyard for these events were our favorite parts of staying here. Food is not a vehicle for COVID spread and we have stayed in several other Charleston hotelsB&Bs that have resumed food service. It is sad to have to leave this review, as the staff are excellent and were extremely friendly. Management needs to reassess their services.

Didnt have the best experience but would say Larry was very helpful with switching our room when we had multiple issues the first night. He was communicative and was able to help and was kind. Hotel is located in a good area.

My wife and I stayed at the Elliott House Inn for our 40th anniversary. The hotel is very convenient and centrally located. We enjoyed the center courtyard and the patio behind our room. I had flower delivered to the hotel and the staff had them in our room when we arrived. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Elliott House Inn.
