The Pinckey was amazing. The staff was very kind and helpful. We were in walking distance of everything. The daily breakfast and wine/cheese hour was a great reprieve throughout the day. The location was a the best...walkable to the market and best restaurants.

We chose this hotel due to its location in the historic district. We were not disappointed. We stayed in Room 219 in a traditional king guest room in the yellow building. However, if you stay in this building on the 2nd floor you need to be aware of all the steps you need to climb to get to your room (see photo). We could not have done it with our luggage and thankfully the attendants did it for us. You could tell our room was recently renovated which was a nice surprise. The bed was comfortable and even had outlets on the side of the headboard. If you need your room very dark for sleeping, this isn't the room for you as the shutters, even when closed, still let in a good bit of light once the sun rises. Breakfast was adequate, just monotonous with the same hot dishes each day. I was told that was due to COVID. We went to the wine and cheese reception once and didn't feel the need to return. The hotel was in a great location, within walking distance to carriage rides, city market and other shops. We also appreciated the ice cold water in the cooler outside since it was very hot during our stay and we needed the water during all our walking. We would stay here again, just on the first floor!

An excellent stay and located nicely in the historic district within easy walking to multiple venues. The horse carriage rides were a minute or two from the hotel. Tours to Ft. Sumter and harbor cruises were 15 minutes away. Overall, an excellent stay.

Just stayed at Andrew Pinckney for 9 days. For most part it is a great place to stay. It’s location is ideal for walking to most restaurants and the city market. For the breakfast provided it lacked choices if you are on a low carb diet. The fresh fruit that was offered was not changed out daily and you could tell it was going bad. The wine and cheese tray that was offered in the evening was a nice touch. The rooms are very small and not suitable for a 9 day stay. With covid practice still in place, you had to do your own bed making and room cleaning. I thought I was staying in the inn but our room was located across the street next to a horse barn. That information should be given when booking the room. The valet staff was excellent!! The front desk staff was not very friendly at all. Overall this place is a good place to stay due to its location.

The hotel was lovely and the staff was wonderful. Only negative was the 5am noise above our room when they set up for breakfast. Breakfast was nice and a variety to choose from, the quiche was fantastic! Great location, right near everything including a few great rooftop bars for viewing the sunset.
