wonderful place to stay and relax. The townhouse suite is fabulous. Everyone so nice and helpful. Could not have asked for a more perfect spot to see the beautiful city of Charleston SC.. Would definingly return to the inn.
I stayed in two different rooms. Both were beautiful but the St Philippe suite was stunning. I would recommend having robes and a clock and a place to put your clothes such as a small dresser under the tv wall . That would be a nice touch. The tub was so cozy and products really great. Thank you for the flowers …… a nice touch
The hotel itself is nice enough and within walking distance to all of downtown BUT the beds are terrible! They are far too soft and old- my husband and I both were rolling to the middle of the bed abs our backs ached from sleeping in it. The rooms are also extremely tiny. Employees were kind and welcoming but they said all rooms in our category were the same abs purchased at the same time.
Enjoyed our time at this cute boutique hotel . Close to everything and loved the wine and cheese hour and excellent breakfast choices . We booked hotel for my mothers 70th birthday. The 4 of us slept comfortably in the king suite .
We were in Charleston for a wedding nearby, and am very pleased with our stay at the Andrew Pinckney Inn. The room was spacious and clean, the building was quiet in a very convenient downtown location. The bathroom had nice toiletries, hair dryer and plenty of towels. The closet was spacious with luggage rack and safe. We did not notice the elevator at first, but it serves all of the floors. The reception and parking are located across the street, with helpful staff. The top floor of the hotel has the dining room with great views of the river and downtown. The complimentary breakfast included a variety of food selections. We enjoyed the afternoon appetizers as well as the Saturday guest speaker who filled us in on Charleston lore. The cost of the room was comparable to other hotels, and seemed high in general, but it's a very popular time of year with Proms, Graduations, Bachelorette and Wedding parties about.…
We would highly recommend this property when visiting Charleston. Friendly and helpful staff and our 2-story unit was perfect for our needs. Buffet breakfast was ideal for the start of our 4 days of touring. Our 2-room unit was so roomy it never felt like we were in a hotel room.
We enjoyed our stay overall. However, the front desk staff is not very warm and friendly and that includes the manager on duty in the morning/afternoon. The manager denied that we had requested a very quiet room despite the fact that we did so a few months before staying at the hotel both over the phone and in writing. Additionally he gave me incorrect directions to a restaurant causing unnecessary additional walking of several blocks. Our room 101 was the most noisy in the whole hotel causing us to lose sleep. The room itself was very spacious and clean. The best part of the stay was the wonderful breakfast with helpful and informative server, Miss Cynthia, who has worked there 17 years. The second best thing was the opportunity to meet other guests at the afternoon wine tasting hosted by a friendly, accommodating server. We might consider staying again if provided with a quiet room that is not located by the front door, elevator and street.…
We absolutely loved this hotel!! We stayed with our two teenage kids. Everything was spotless and clean, the staff was so kind, breakfast was delicious- we would stay here again in a heartbeat! Loved the charm of this older hotel, and it’s location can’t be beat! Breakfast was delicious every morning, something for everyone. The beds were so comfortable, and the wine and cheese hour was a great touch. Thank you for making our vacation in Charleston so wonderful. Loved the Andrew Pinckney Inn so much!!
The location is great for wandering around. The room was average: smallish, no elevator. Check in staff was not rude, but not friendly either. Barely spoke, no smile, no greeting. Valets were much nicer. The included breakfast was not great.
We enjoyed our second stay very much. Fantastic location, wonderful breakfast, comfortable bed, valet parking right there. Drinks and snacks offered in the delightful windowed space on the fourth floor where breakfast is offered. We will be back.
