Amazing place!!!!!!!! Everything was exceptional, from the service to the food to the chocolate chip cookies and s’mores! Our children had a great time and there were plenty of activities for them even little ones! Can’t wait to come back❤️
We loved it so much we came back two summers in a row! First, I should say that we live in coastal southern California, so we are lucky to have natural beauty on a daily basis, but there is something about the tranquility in this locale that draws us in. Montage is unbeatable. The rooms are beautifully decorated and have every possible thoughtful detail and convenience, and we especially love the larger bathroom size. All dining options are outstanding, and housekeeping is impeccable (and I am very hard to please on that one.) The pool area is beautiful and has a great vibe, and our favorite on-property is electric bikes for miles and miles of safe and beautiful trails in and out of the residential area and golf course. I always think it's weird when people comment on employees at a hotel because it seems pretentious, but I would be remiss not to mention Richard (valet), Zulfira (front desk), and Firoze (rooms) who are all three so devoted and passionate about the property, it's contagious! They do not miss an opportunity to make guests feel welcome and spoiled. MPB is so close to Savannah Airport, and a super easy drive up to Charleston for a day or two on either end of your trip. If you are on the fence about trying this property, DO IT - you will not be disappointed.…
Montage Palmetto Bluff is a great place to get away and relax. I really like the location and everything that they have available here. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating to make sure that you have everything that you need for the best stay. Well worth it to stay here.
Very expensive! And for the price of the room the bed was lumpy & hard. Not a lot of dining options but the food in the bar rest was exceptional. Great service & very friendly staff. Beautiful setting & lots of amenities. A long drive in from the quaint little town of Bluffton.
Our guide Leslie Balassone was wonderful. Very knowlegible about the species and trees. Gave many interesting facts Regarding the area, took pictures for us and made it a fun informative trip. Showed us Alligator sun spots and we were able to get lot of pictures.
We absolutely loved our stay at the Montage Palmetto Bluff. We experienced impeccable service from the moment we checked in. The dog-friendly policy adds to the convenience and comfort, with thoughtful touches like dog beds and bowls. Susan Ahern at the Peter Millar store stands out for her exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to help my husband find the perfect outfit. The property's stunning views, multiple dining options, and activities for all ages make it an ideal choice for a relaxing getaway. Overall, the Montage Palmetto Bluff is a top-tier hotel that exceeds expectations in every way. We will definitely be back!
From the moment I drove up to the inn I knew this was going to be a special place. Every staff member was EXCEPTIONAL. I’ve never experienced that level of service or luxury before, even at 5 star hotels. The resort buildings and grounds are beautiful and perfectly manicured. There are so many fun activities and places to explore. I even got to participate in star gazing one night and looked through a high-power telescope to see the craters on the moon. The pools are heated to perfection (who knew winter swimming was fun?!) and there are multiple jacuzzis available all day. Relaxation heaven. They have a coffee station in the morning, cookies, tea and lemonade in the afternoon and s’mores in the evenings by the fire. The spa, massage and amenities were great too. Montage has truly perfected the vacation experience. You can lounge and relax or you can have lots of active adventures. It’s not a stuffy atmosphere at all, but rather warm, welcoming and super friendly. I traveled solo and had the best time meeting other travelers. It’s also SUPER dog friendly! My dog enjoyed the trip as much as I did. Miles and miles of trails to walk and explore. They left a bed, bowls, and homemade biscuits for her in the room. She really freaked out over the dog biscuits so they must have been good. I can’t write this review without mentioning the food. Oh my goodness, the food… I did my due diligence and tried all the options. Room service, breakfast/lunch/ dinner at Octagon, dinner at River House. Everything I ate was the best thing I’ve ever had. I’m from Charleston, which is known for its food scene, but I can tell you the food at Montage is more extraordinary. And again, the service was over-the-top amazing. Five+++ stars! …
This property just a few hours north of Jacksonville Florida of I-95 is tremendous! Situated in the picturesque low country of coastal South Carolina, the rooms are 5 star, every team member has smiles and a genuine desire to provide you 100% satisfaction with regard to your experience. In fact the Ritz Carleton school for customers experience need a refresher and visit this property
The best hotel and property we have had the privilege's to visit. The location and surrounding property is beautiful and incredibly maintained. The service experience was incredible from prior to arrival with several efforts made by staff to prepare for our arrival, book activities, make us familiar with holiday events, etc. The arrival and welcome experience is fantastic (thank you Josh), rooms were great, amenities and restaurant superb. Appreciate Michael being so helpful and getting our family around the property. My gratitude to Catherine at the SPA for being gracious and helping my wife & I with appointments and services. Our boys (10/11) had such a fantastic time - loved the smores, pools being heated, pickleball, bike rides, SOOO much to explore. This place is the BEST!!! …
The room (King with balcony/lagoon view) was simply lovely. The bed was so comfortable and housekeeping is amazing-including the turndown service. We did the bicycle picnic lunch and biked over to the dock at Moreland. There was enough food for four in our picnic baskets for two. Susie's morning yoga class was amazing-she is a special person. The valets are friendly. We had a very relaxing weekend-you can do as much or as little as you want. We had a little issue with a lamp in our room and it was promptly repaired. We will return.
