Detailed Reviews
Staying at the Old Town Bluffton Inn is an amazing experience. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the bed is comfortable and the towels are plush. The hotel has a pantry(no charge) that is filled with fresh baked cookies ,snacks and hot/cold beverages. Breakfast is a treat with homemade quiche and croissant sandwiches.
The best part of staying at the Inn is the people. Sharing happy hour with new friends and interacting with the amazing staff is what makes this place special.
We will be back!l

This charming hotel looks like it's been here since the 19th century. But it was built new, not refurbished in 2019. The windows are double glazed and the walls are well insulated, so you don't hear the inevitable biker on the street that likes to wake the tourists at 2AM. There is an elevator if you're worried about having to carry your luggage to the third floor. Parking is free in a lot behind the hotel or on the street in front. The beds are super comfortable and there are blankets in the room if you are like me and find duvets are too warm for sleeping. Snacks are available day and night and breakfast yoghurt, cereal, muffins are a cut above the chain hotel offerings. The owners, Danielle and Vince, are more than happy to assist in selection of local attractions and restaurants. We came for a quiet weekend and that's what we found.

We received a very warm welcome upon arrival. The innkeeper, proprietors and staff made sure every detail of our room and stay were to our satisfaction. The room, which we got to select online when we booked our reservation, was even more beautiful and comfortable than its pictures. The Inn is located in a pedestrian-friendly spot with everything (shops, restaurants, art galleries and historical sites) within walking distance. The guest services team can readily suggest good restaurants in the area. The Inn provides a comfortable living room/lobby type of space, which was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated for the start of the autumn season. Included in the room charge is an impressive "grab and go" breakfast and snack station with a variety of tasty items, especially the delicious, home-baked cakes and cookies. After exploring the area or having dinner, we were offered a glass of wine or other libation, also complimentary. We look forward to our next stay when visiting the Bluffton area.

The location of this "period" hotel is perfect. There are over a half-dozen restaurants within a 5-minute walk, as well as boutique shops. The staff is extremely friendly/approachable and very willing to help, with anything. Because of Vincent and his relationship with his "neighbors", we were able to get a reservation at Bricco's (Italian cuisine). Vincent also helped us make reservations at the Farm restaurant next door. The Inn had homemade snacks and beverages available 24/7. While the rooms do not have individual refrigerators, the staff provided access to theirs in the kitchen.
I said "period" hotel above because we all thought the Inn was originally built in the early 1800s. Come to find out, Danielle and Vincent built it from the ground up, allowing them to furnish it with the period or reproduction pieces, but allowing for modern amenities where needed. The room was very clean and well-appointed.
We found this hotel based on a recommendation from Dr. Weniger's Plastic Surgery website. The hotel is less than 15 minutes, with three different routes to take based on traffic. We were extremely pleased to have been able to stay here.

The accommodations not only in the rooms were excellent in decor and comfort, but had wonderful veranda views of Old Town Bluffton. The snacks and refreshments were complimentary and the selections were considerable. The choices for the continental breakfast were excellent but if you desired, several restaurants were within walking distance as was the beautiful May River which flows into the Atlantic ocean. The elevator was convenient and the Innkeepers were interested in assisting us with any information about the Inn or Bluffton. The owners, Vincent & Danielle, were delightful hosts during our "Valentine" stay.

We booked the Old Town Bluffton Inn for 3 nights..then extended our stay for 2 extra nights...and then we added 3 more nights! Our stay was so relaxing and carefree, it was truly hard to say good-bye. We were at ease coming and going from the wonderfully central location as well as just spending time in our comfortable, amazingly clean, fresh and cozy rooms (we opted for another room halfway through our stay just to experience that each room has its own unique decor!). The breakfast and all-day 24 hour snack and beverage bar made us feel like kids in a candy store when helping ourselves at any hour of the day. Enjoying an evening beer or glass of wine on the house if we happened to be in for happy hour was a lovely way to unwind together or chat with other guests. Our hosts Danielle and Vince made us feel right at home, along with their hand-picked staff being equally as accommodating and friendly. Having the ability to work from a laptop at one of the many tables in the main room, or feeling free to sit on the couch late at night with a book, we could not have felt more at home...but of course it was even better because we had no chores and no responsibilities! Old Town Bluffton Inn took care of everything!

After having moved away from the Low Country a few months ago, I wanted my return visit to be an opportunity to visit friends and to explore familiar places from a different vantage point. I was able to do both from the Old Town Bluffton Inn. The location in the heart of old town Bluffton facilitated an early morning walk, following the historical walking tour info available in my guest room. The beautiful lobby was not only a place for an easy, tasty breakfast on my own, but also a place to visit with friends from nearby neighborhoods. The owner and staff were accommodating and friendly. The room itself was tastefully and beautifully furnished, and planned for ease of use - e.g big shower, easy in-out. Very special place - I hope to return soon.

What an absolutely wonderful experience staying at The Old Town Bluffton Inn. Beautifully appointed guest rooms and wonderful living room and public room for guests made for a very enjoyable time either alone or meeting other guests. The complimentary guest counter with homemade breakfast items, fruit, yogurt, cheeses, juices and coffee was wonderful. It’s a beautiful inn and the owners couldn’t have been more generous, genuine or helpful. The proximity to fabulous restaurants And shopping is great too. We can’t wait to go back!!

I'll start with the ambiance. The lobby has multiple spaces for gathering, including a large living room w/ fireplace and muliple dining tables, more than sufficient for the size of the hotel. Its decor is among the loveliest of boutique hotels at which I've stayed (southern meets French country). There is an alcove on the main floor that houses a self-brew coffee machine, an array of top-flight snacks and treats, and a selection of soft drinks and juices. Breakfast is set up in the mornings (baby quiches and pastries) for guests. There is also a microwave for guest use. The rooms are well appointed, each is uniquely decorated. The bathroom has a modern feel, adorned in whites and grays, with fine finishes. The water pressure in the shower is strong and the water gets hot (so nice). I'd be remiss if I didn't mention location. Situated in Old Town Bluffton, the hotel is surrounded with a variety of restaurants/cuisines, quaint retail shops, and sightseeing opportunities. The Thursday Farmer's Market is just a few blocks away. Beaufort SC is 35 minutes north and Hilton Head is 20 minutes east. Last but not least, the Proprietors (Danielle and Vince) are incredibly welcoming and truly care about delivering a positive guest experience.

My husband and I had an anniversary get away and stayed at the Bluffton Inn . From the moment we drove up and saw the little town set away from the hustle and bustle of Hilton head , we knew the place would be amazing . You can walk to many small shops and restaurants and the Inn itself...well, we were not disappointed ! Leah at the front desk, the owners and their attention to details all made us feel welcome and cared for . Every high end furnishing and decor and amenity was well thought out and makes this a very special place .

Like other inns, it's more for a short stay. At $360/night , month would be very prohibitive for most people.
