Great stay in a super location. The guest house and set up was super cool with private bedrooms and bathrooms, and some shared kitchenette, amenities, big front porches for breezes and views. The rooms were well appointed and very comfortable. Great parking and privacy in the back. We are able to walk to all the restaurants and shops and the waterfront. The communication in advance of the stay and the personal interaction from the end keepers made this super stress-free. Highly recommend this to anybody traveling to Beaufort.

We've been here twice now (repeat business should give you a warm and fuzzy feeling). Check-in is easy, access is easy, there's off-street parking, all staff members are super-friendly, and the location could not possibly be better. Having access to a kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, and a Keurig is very helpful. The two closest restaurants (next door and across the street) are both excellent (Breakwater and Wren). We love Beaufort and 607 Bay makes it even better.

This is a really great place to stay. We chose it for its central location, easy parking, and the photos showed it had a lot of character and charm. But, there is so much more to recommend this inn. We had a wonderful, friendly and informative greeeting from Christopher. There are two kitchens available for guests to use and the porches and balconies are great places to sit and relax. We chose Tenny's Room which was absolutely gorgeous and very comfortable. One piece of advice is that there are no elevators, so if you have a lot of luggage choose a ground floor room. The breakfast vouchers work well. We used them for breakfast at Low Country Cider & Superior Coffee, which we can fully recommend - good food and good service with a lovely outside eating area.

Great location! Cross the street and you are at hoistoric downtown Beaufort and at the Bay. Lots of cute shops and restaurants to visit. 607 Bay is a beautiful newly renovated Inn with shared kitchens on each floor. Free coffee,cookies, a shared fridge, and a porch, which was all very nice. The Innkeeper was very helpful with our luggage and answered all of our questions. The only things that we would have liked was a couple of fold out luggage stands in our room and a few more hooks in the bathroom/closet to hang a robe, pjs, etc. These are just practical things that are useful in any hotel/inn old or new.
We were each given two $8 food vouchers to use, which in our opinon could have been a little more like $10 at the least, concidering the price of our room. One was for a coffee house and the other for a bagel place. Both were packed on Saturday morning as every other hotel/Inn must be giving out those vouchers as well! So we went later in the day to the coffee house to pick up a few pastries for our journey back home on Sunday. The $8 barely covered the cost of two pastries each. We didnt have time to use the bagle voucher because the time noted on the voucher was incorrect for weekends, we were already on the road by the time they opened.
We have stayed at several places in the US and for the price at this Inn, a full breakfast voucher shoud have been included. Especially because the rate on the weekend was increased by $20 a night vs the rate during the week. And why? Nothing is different.

607 Bay is a perfect stay in Beaufort. We stayed in Room 6 which was spacious and comfortable with a nice view of the river, a very good bed, and a great shower. The Inn has been very nicely renovated and is situated perfectly for walking Bay Street and the waterside park or taking a walking tour of the historic district. We visited the Information Center a couple blocks away where we received lots of information to enable us to do a self-guided tour. I would like to return some time for a walking tour with a guide. I completely recommend 607 Bay!

Very comfortable rooms with a nice view from the porch and balcony. Room was clean, we were on the 2nd floor and enjoyed easy access to the balcony. There is a small refrigerator and a coffee service in the hall. There is some road noise at night but not all night. Communication prior to arrival was good, however, we did find it not as accommodating after check-in as we had to communicate via text. Response was slow and not very detailed. We did have some confusion with our breakfast vouchers as the restaurant took them on the first day, which left us without vouchers for the second day. We had 2 bottles of water on arrival but these were not replenished during the remainder of our stay, which was a topic of conversation as other guests had the same concern. It was nice to have the refrigerators available for cold items we brought with us. Our only issue with not having on site assistance was not getting concerns addressed quickly and/or not at all, otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

607 Bay Inn offers a very special experience. Not only was it immaculately clean, it offered all the upscale amenities that a discerning traveler would be seeking, including a very comfortable bed and ample glassed-in shower. It was such a treat to experience Beaufort this way, having walking access to everything. When exiting the Inn one evening, a couple passing by asked us about the Inn because it looked to charming to them, and we happily and wholeheartedly endorsed it.

This was the second visit my husband and I have enjoyed at 607 Bay. We absolutely love the location with fantastic views of the Beaufort River from both porches. A great spot to relax! It is also within easy walking distance to downtown Beaufort and Pigeon Point Park! 607 Bay is a beautiful building, tastefully furnished and very well maintained! The rooms are pretty, comfortable and super clean with nice amenities. The staff members are personable and genuinely care about making you feel welcome. We will definitely choose 607 Bay any time we visit Beaufort or the surrounding area.

We had a last minute change of plans that resulted in needing to find a place to stay in just a few hours. A quick bit of research led us to 607 Bay, and I nervously booked it without having any chance to properly research it. We certainly lucked out! They reached out by phone to make sure our needs would be taken care of, and an owner on property made it a point to check in on us throughout our stay. The cleaning staff also chatted with us and shared some of their favorite features of the inn, such as the spectacular views from certain rooms. The location was PERFECT - at the end of Bay Street, where everything happens. Yet it was also quiet, nestled in an area of historic homes (including the home we were in). The mattress, pillows and linens were fresh and comfortable. The shower was spacious. We bought cheese and wine from a shop nearby, borrowed some wine glasses from the kitchen, and had a lovely time sitting on the front porch overlooking the water before we went to dinner. I can't say enough good things. We usually arrive in Beaufort by boat and will definitely book this place in the future for the friends that join us!

Great location conveniently located downtown Beaufort on the waterfront within walking distance of restuarants, shops, etc. Private parking for guests with all the amenities of home. Staff is most accomodating. Spacious room on first floor with large walkin shower. A real must if visting Beaufort!
