So happy that we found the Cuthbert House Inn! It provides a comfortable relaxing southern experience through the gracious hospitality offered by Connie and Ed. The front porch water views plunged us quickly and deeply into "on vacation" mode. The wine and cheese plate helped too! Ed made reservations for us at one of several local Beaufort restaurants that he described for our choosing. We enjoyed the short walk into downtown Beaufort and its shops and a bike-tour of the historic district. Our room at the Cuthbert House exceeded our expectations. The breakfast experience with French Press coffee, poached eggs, and more was a gourmet experience. The staff was so welcoming but provided you space and privacy. We will be back!

Property's Favorite Review
The room, the service, the location, the attention to detail, the availability of bicycles (check out the nearby Spanish Moss Trail, happy hour, sunsets, sunrises were all perfect. The innkeepers even have DVDs filmed in Beaufort to check out as well as a pass for Hunting island that can also be loaned. Clearly the team at Cuthbert is out to exceed your expectations.

We had the pleasure of staying two nights this week at the the Cuthbert House Inn in Beaufort, SC. Our room (the Ballroom) was roomy and well appointed with a very comfortable bed. As clearly noted on the hotel website, this room is not pet friendly but the inn does have a couple of pet-friendly rooms if you want to bring your loved one. The bathroom has an attractive sink, good size shower and clawfoot tub. This corner room, along with the Federal room across the hallway, is top floor with a nice view of the bay. You can also access the balcony from the hallway for a relaxing sit or drink. A highlight of the stay were the talks with the owners, Ed and Connie, at the daily social hour. Be there at 5pm for wine or beer on the front porch, great snacks (get the cheese kabob with the best watermelon ever) and just like home (or better) conversation. Mary, Shannon and the staff all provided top notch service. Even with Corona closing a few things down, there were plenty of things for us to do and we expect to be back to the Cuthbert House as soon as we can.

Had a wonderful weekend stay in the Federal room. Fantastic hospitality, wonderful breakfasts, great wine and small bites in the afternoon on the front porch - just heaven. The inn has a great location within walking distance to everything, yet removed just far enough to make for relaxation while catching a nice breeze and a great view of the intercoastal waterway.

We had a lovely stay at the Cuthbert House Inn. The accommodations were perfect alongside the views and food! It was very close to all the downtown shops and eateries. Can't wait until we return again... hopefully this fall.
