Eden Manor has great potential. Driving down the entrance I was impressed with the potential, very eclectic old mansion. However on entering the room I realized that it needed serious updating; bed/mattress, electrical and bathroom. During the weekend I needed a few things (ice and ironing board) and it was hard to find help and it seemed that I was... More

August 15th, 2015 , rented room. Arrived to find no host on the premises. Note on table found after searching telling us we had the room in back of the dining room. Large room, with adjoining small room with 2 twin beds. Twin beds not made up, bedding crumpled up on the floor. This room was attached to breakfast/dining room... More

My husband and I had our wedding at Eden Manor in August 2014. Of the 14 rooms, our friends and family booked 12 of the 14. We all had a wonderful stay and the Eden's were perfect hosts. Their children even helped out the entire weekend for our wedding. We could not have been more pleased. The grounds were immaculate,... More

We recently stayed for two nights at Eden Manor. The room was to be for myself, my husband and our 22 year old daughter. We were told that we would have a room upstairs that could accommodate all of us with a private bath. When we arrived, the owners left a note that we would be staying down stairs in... More

Eden Manor is a run down bed and breakfast. Leaky plumbing around the toilet is just the beginning of this horrible experience. The woman who runs this place is rude beyond words and she creates a negative vibe that makes one want to run. We thought this would be a welcoming experience but its just the opposite. The owner actually... More

On the plus side, Eden Manor is a beautiful old Victorian building on lush, green grounds. The common rooms are charmingly decorated and our room on the ground floor had a certain charm as well. Breakfast was good and my husband LOVED the French toast. On the other hand, we were greeted by a note telling us which room was... More

Eden Manor epitomizes a rambling old house in all the best ways. It is truly a lived-in family home that is well maintained and set on expansive grounds well buffered from traffic noise. The hosts are friendly and down-to-earth. They serve a wonderful breakfast buffet - ample, varied, and delicious! We ate our meal on the porch, enjoying views of... More

The people who own the B&B are the best. The rooms are great, the grounds are great, breakfast is always different and GOOD, We would eat our breakfast outside and talk to other guest from all over the country. They take dogs, our dog played the house dog;; The city of Wakefield is a quaint little town that has everything.

This is a great B & B in a fantastic location. The Eden's are great hosts. It is really close to the beaches and a short drive to Newport. We will go back. It is just a cozy old house in one of my favorite towns. I went to URI and spent a large amount of time in and around... More

This was a last minute get-a-away idea for us and the Manor's keeper accommodated use with an available room. The room was clean and the decorations made it. The only fault I have is there was no AC on what turned out to be the most humid weekend of the summer. If I had AC then the place would be... More
