Our Block Island ferry was cancelled due to the high winds so we stayed at this gem instead. We could not have enjoyed our stay more. From our trips around Narragansett, Jamestown and Newport, to our delicious meals (especially the pan-seared scallops) at Chair 5, the hotel restaurant, to the fabulous gas fireplace in our cozy, spacious bedroom. If you are coming to Rhode Island, this is the place to stay! Thank you so much Jim, and the rest of the wonderful, welcoming staff at the Break Hotel.

My wife and I recently spent 2 nights at the break hotel. We needed a break from reality. Long time visitors to this area and wanted to stay at place/area with out much thought. We have stayed at low low low end placed and high end properties. The break hotel is perfect high end. We did not demand much of the staff. The room #202 was perfect. Maybe the best room I have ever stayed in. Heck in was friendly and quick and off to our room. No need to bellman( don’t even know if they have one) and don’t care. Up to second floor and want a great view and sincere quiet setting. Although a crew was fixing a parking lot next door we barely heard them. The room was LARGE with king bad a nice fireplace n great AC. My wife loves pools. She is like a fish and never wants to come our. Pool heated 92 degrees and wife swam up too 9:30. Staff member came out to make sure she had a towel. Lots of amenities we did not use. Bikes. Restaurant and bar. But we did take advantage to complementary breakfast and it was perfect. The little sauna was perfect. The balcony was perfect. The staff was wonderful. My wife and I would like to thank the break hotel was the perfect stay. I doubt they even reMember us but they made this stay what we needed..peace. One thing. People tip, your wait staff at free breakfast that are working too. Will go back again. One day in the future when it is needed. Thank you to the break hotel staff

The Break Hotel provided a much needed break from our sofa and Netflix. Even though we live only 4 miles away, we took advantage of a great rate and escaped. The room was spotless, comfortable, and loved the modern decor and amenities (ipad tablet, apple tv, keurig and mini fridge). Nice linens and spa products. Great walk-in rain shower. We enjoyed dinner at the rooftop bar and later a dip in the saltwater pool (heated year round) and the sauna added some extra steam. Came back to our room and kicked on the gas fireplace. Service was impeccable and promptly responsive to our requests. The "continental" breakfast was brought to our room and the "small plates" was a full American breakfast . Can't say enough wonderful things about our escape to the Break. Will definitely recommend and look forward to our future stay.
